For anyone who has experienced pregnancy, you’ll know that when someone is in their third trimester, they feel as if they’re carrying the equivalent of a watermelon.

So when one woman woke up and realised that her bump was no longer the round shape and size as before, she rightly panicked.

CarrieBear0408 shared a video on TikTok outlining the difference between her baby bump before and after its disappearance.

She said to her followers: “Woke up at 33 weeks pregnant and bump has vanished. Wtaf?”

However, onlookers took to the comments section with an idea of what could be happening to her body - and thankfully, it is completely natural and safe.

“Baby dropped! Ready to get ready mama!” one person said, while another added: “baby changed positions and dropped down into his birthing place.”

One woman's bump disappeared one morning at 33 weeks.

And another person commented: "That's normal mama don't you worry! means baby is getting ready to join you on the outside, gotta get in place."

In fact, NHS England states that from 33 weeks, this is a perfectly natural part of pregnancy and that the baby is getting into position in your uterus before being born.

They said: “You may start to feel like something's weighing down on your pelvis. This heavy feeling can be a sign that your baby's in the head-down position, ready for birth.”

Well, the mum provided a highly-anticipated update to her followers the next day from what appeared to be a hospital, explaining that her followers’ suspicions were right.

She wrote: “Little bubba has dropped into the pelvis!

She updated her concerned followers that everything was fine.

“Everything is looking perfect and routine for a VBAC (Vaginal Birth after Caesarean) on March 13th or when he’s ready to arrive!”

A few days later, however, her baby decided to make an appearance again as a more prominent bump, with the woman sharing an update to her TikTok once again.

“I woke up today and little Noven decided to stop hiding,” she penned on a video update.

Then, on the 19th February 2022, Noven was born safely at 36 weeks and 5 days.

“Noven Matthew,” the woman updated once again in a new video of her gorgeous new baby boy. “He’s here!”

“He was 78th percentile on ultrasound. He weighed 7 lb 0oz and was 20 inches long,” she said to a follower in the comments.

We’re so glad that her new little one was born safely after all that hide and seek!
