Over the last few months, people across the UK have been coming up with incredible ways to show their support to our wonderful NHS.

And now, you can buy a silver NHS heroes coin, with 100 per cent of all profits donated to charity.

The beautiful collector's item is authorised by Her Majesty the Queen and has been made in dedication to NHS staff, who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic.

The 1oz pure silver coin is priced at £24.95 and comes with a certificate of authenticity as well as a red velvet pouch to keep it safe in.

And the best bit is, all profits from the sale of the £5 coin will be donated to the NHS Charities Together COVID-19 Urgent Appeal.

It comes in a handy pouch (

One side of the coin features a Union Jack heart design, scribed with the words #nhsheroes - which is the first time a hashtag has appeared on a coin, FYI.

Around the edge, it's engraved with the words Love, Care, Compassion and Strength, while the reverse features an effigy of the Queen as well as the face value of the coin and the year 2020.

"This 1oz Fine Silver £5 coin is dedicated to the NHS staff and volunteers at the front line of the uK's fight against COVID-19," the description reads.

"100 per cent of all profits from the sale of this coin will be donated to NHS Charities Together COVID-19 Urgent Appeal to support the incredible NHS staff and volunteers working tirelessly to combat the very real threat our country faces. Salute your NHS."

Chairman and Managing Director of The East India Company, Sanjiv Mehta, said: "This coin is dedicated to every NHS Staff member and volunteer who has put their lives on the line during this incredibly frightening time.

"It has been created to recognise those people and celebrate their bravery and to demonstrate our heartfelt thanks to each of them. Donating 100% of the profit from each coin purchased to these important charities is our way to give something back in return for their sacrifice".
