New Snapchat Filter Makes Your Dog Look Like A Disney Character

This is so cute.

There's no doubt that Instagram and Snapchat filters are getting a bit out of control.

What started as a funny pair of dog ears superimposed on your face circa 2015 has progressed into a catalogue of huge lips and doll faces that make you look so good you're low-key considering botox.

But problematic filters aside, if there's one we can all get on board with it's a filter that makes your dog look like a Disney character.

We told you: it's wholesome AF.

The filter was first tipped-off by a member of the Dogspotting Society Facebook group, who shared with their fellow pooch-lovers: "For those that don't know... Snapchat has a new filter and it basically Disneyfies your dog. YOU ARE WELCOME. Plz post your Disney dawgs here."

The poster clarified the filter is called 'Cartoon Face' for those searching, and it simply turns your dog into a doe-eyed character worthy of the magical animations.

The post has since gone viral, wracking up over 15,000 likes and more than 3200 shares, and hundreds of posters sharing photos of their own pets animated-up - and the results are SO good.

As is with any filter, simply find it on Snapchat's filter section, find your pooch and point. Enjoy!

It was only in October last year that Snapchat introduced the ability to filter animal's faces, such as dogs and cats, which delighted fans of the app.

Previously, the app's filters were only programmed to recognise the human face, which made it really frustrating when you tried to do a face swap with your furry friend.

But now, filters allow pet owners to make their furry friends look even cuter with a unicorn horn, glasses or a flower crown.

You can distinguish which filters are specifically made for your pet by looking for the blue paw icon.

At first, the filters only worked on cats (which infuriated dog people everywhere), but Snapchat has since sorted that out.

Happy filtering!
