Twins who refuse to spend more than 24 hour apart believe they're the 'exact same person'

Lyndsey and Louise Scott take being identical to a whole other level

There is certainly no questioning that twins have a special bond, as compared to just normal siblings.

To be honest, I can't confirm that as I'm not a twin myself, but from what people who are a twin have said, there is certainly a different bond there.

But these particular identical twins have somewhat more of a special bond as they refuse to spend more than 24 hours apart.

Meet Lyndsey and Louise Scott, 23, who still wear matching outfits and claim to be the 'exact same person'.

They, of course, grew up sharing a bedroom and continue to literally do everything together up until this very day.

The extent to how they really can't be separated was evident when Louise went to the University of Liverpool to study English in 2017.

So Lyndsey could remain with her identical twin, she moved in with her sister at the university accommodation - despite actually not studying in Liverpool.

But in 2018, the girls had to spend more than 24 hours apart for the first time as Louise moved to Canada to study abroad for four months.

Louise said: “We didn’t used to spend more than 24 hours apart. If one of us had a sleepover the other one would come or we both wouldn’t go.

“We’re 99 percent the same. We both love fashion, the same style, food and watch the same content."

Meanwhile, Lyndsey said: “We’re like the exact same person. We would always get tonsillitis at the same time.

“We went down for the operation to get them removed on the same day."

The twins' bond is that strong, they even like and dislike the exact same foods.

"It’s another version of yourself," Louise said. “If one of us doesn’t like a certain food the other one will know not to try it.”

Lyndsey added: “If there is a brief moment where one us doesn’t like something that the other one likes.

"It will literally last for a month and then the other will convert and we’ll both like the same food.”

Not only that, but the twins are also apparently allergic to the same things.

"We’re allergic to the exact same things – when I was a baby I took penicillin and my head doubled in size so Louise has never been allowed to have it," Lyndsey explained.

The twins very rarely spend more than 24 hours apart.

The girls now live together in Merseyside and have also both come out as gay in recent times.

Lyndsey’s girlfriend Rosie resides with them while Louise’s partner Jenuelle is always around a lot of the time.

Despite them both having partners, the twins still spend an awful lot of time together, which does mean that arguments do occur from time to time.

But according to the sisters, they make up within seconds after a bickering act, which is certainly quicker than most of us with our siblings!
