We have some good news - it's the bank holiday weekend coming up and it looks like it won't be raining for a change (thank goodness).

The Met Office has confirmed that we will have wall to wall sunshine over the three-day weekend - which at least guarantees our (legally limited) garden parties won't be a washout.

And now, B&Q are selling a product that will make us feel we're sunning in the South of France: a Lay-Z-Spa.

Coming in at a fairly reasonable £310, the 110 jet jacuzzi spa is spacious enough to fit three people in at once, and is perfect for those of us who have fairly small back garden but still want to be boujie enough to enjoy a hot tub.

The website's product description reads: "Despite its size, the St. Lucia has everything you would expect of the larger models including a soothing 110 AirJet massage system, rapid heating system, power-saving timer and Freeze Shield technology so it can be enjoyed all year round.

"It comes with a sturdy DuraPlus construction, digitally controlled pump with cup holders, ChemConnect:tm: dispenser, insulating lid and cover with safety clips."

Because there's no better way to soak up the summer sun than with a hot tub.

While it does require some partial assembly on your end, reviews of the Lay-Z-Spa reveal it's fairly easy to set up on your own, so don't let that put you off.

In other garden furniture news, Aldi has announced it is bringing back its dual purpose fire pit for the summer season.

A bargain at just £59.99, the fire pit is made from a faux stone and comes in a stylish geometric shape (bang on trend for 2021). It's also petite enough to be portable, so you can take it on any future camping trips or proposed beach parties.

With a hot tub and our own fire pit, we may never need to go on holiday again!
