Cheese is the bees’ knees, but sometimes It’s a pain in the bottom to cut and prepare evenly.

If you’re sick of getting miss matched bits of cheese for your sarnie, then you’re not alone. Even worse, uneven melting of cheese on your cheese and toast.

I can’t fathom a half burnt, half solid cheese on toast, but that’s the reality we have to live with.

However, one woman sparked pure joy in every cheese-lover’s heart when she introduced viewers on TikTok to a savvy hack.

Bella, known as @paperbelle, found herself as the holy grail holder of cheese preparation and we’re so thankful she made this public.

Her ‘genius’ cheese-cutting method is unconventional - yet effective.

The Aussie posted a video which soon went viral, racking up nearly 200,000 views and a trove of comments from people praising her name.

The hack? Using a potato peeler to slice cheese.

Incredible.

Starting off her video, Bella asked viewers: "You mean to tell me you've never used a peeler to peel your cheese?"

She then went ahead and provided a demonstration of how she gets even slices every time.

Grabbing a block of cheddar, she scraped across the cheese and created a thin slice of cheese.

The perfect slice, at that.

Bella brought the cheese up to the screen and said: "I have done this my whole life. My whole family does this. And you do it because you get a really even cheese slice."

"See? It's perfect."

She also noted that it’s not just for sandwiches, adding: "As someone who consumes a lot of cheese on toast, I can confirm that this is the ultimate way to slice cheese."

Obviously, the internet raved about it and self-confessed cheese enthusiasts flocked to talk about the ‘game-changer’ hack.

One person wrote: "Omg it's genius! Doing this from now on!"

Another called it ‘lowkey genius.’

While someone else said that Bella had ‘changed my life’ with her potato peeling hack.

But there were those who decided to make something so positive into a negative by tell her to use the slicing element on a cheese grater.

Meanwhile, others suggested a Norwegian cheese slicer which supposedly works a charm.

But Bella remained loyal to her method, which has been handed down from her own family.

I guess I know what I’m going to be doing tonight as I rummage through drawers to find myself a potato peeler.
