Many brides and grooms look forward to finally tying the knot in the hopes that everything goes to plan and they have a fairytale wedding day for the ages.
However, it appears not everything always unfolds smoothly and this bride was left horrified after her mum 'ruined' her wedding dress reveal.
The woman, who goes by the handle @phaedrap, took to TikTok to share the moment which has since sent the internet into an absolute frenzy. Check it out:
The video shows the excited bride smiling while opening a door to show her eagerly-awaiting bridesmaids how she looked for the special occasion.

Yet, all of a sudden, her mum enters the shot to walk straight in front of her before the bride could even walk out the room she was getting ready in.
The overlay text reads: "When you've been waiting six months to do a wedding dress reveal for your bridesmaids and your mother ruins it."
The woman captioned the video: "Still not over this."
The short clip has since gone viral after clocking up a staggering 25.1 million views on the platform with 2.3 million likes as well as thousands and thousands of comments from people eager to share their reactions to the blunder.

One person commented: "I would have such a bad attitude after this how do you keep calm."
"Lol my mom has no spatial awareness either," admitted another.
Another quipped: "None of this matters to my life but I find myself enraged all the same."

Someone else joked: "Be glad it’s your mum and not your mother-in-law because that could wreck your relationship."
Others, however, gave the mum the benefit of the doubt and looked to other reasons as to why she walked in front of her daughter during the pivotal moment.
"She couldn’t wait?" asked one TikTok user. "Or did she want to quickly get out of the way to enjoy the moment too with the others?"

"I think she wanted to be part of their moment too - trying to hurry out of your way to witness it," added a third.
"She wanted to be in the room helping you but she also wanted the reveal experience with everyone else," echoed a final TikTok user.
