A bride has been praised for proudly banning children from her wedding.

Ashley shared a video on TikTok of jubilant scenes on her big day, captioning the clip: "POV: You have no kids at your wedding."

She also shared a shot of her wedding invite, which read: "Adults only ceremony and reception."

The video has racked up four million views and many people flocked to the comments to praise Ashley for celebrating her special day the way she wanted to.

"I had a no kids wedding, it was amazing to just have fun with my friends," one person commented.

Another said: "Mine said 'we love your kids but thought you could use the night off, adults only please'. Best decision we made."

While a third added: "We did this too! And I'm so glad because everyone felt free to party."

Plenty of parents supported Ashley's decision too.

"I'm a mom and weddings are not a good place for kids. They get overstimulated or bored," one wrote.

Another added: "Who wants kids running around at an expensive party, sorry not sorry. Ps im a mother and had the same rule at my wedding."

A third commented: "I am a mom and I would try to find someone to babysit. And if I can't find anyone, then I'll simply won't come. Why is that so hard for some people?"

While another joked: "As a mom of 3, if I'm invited to a wedding where kids ARE allowed, I'm not coming. Let's make more events kid free."

Another TikToker went one step further recently by calling for child-free suburbs.

The actor - who goes by the name Baby Soja online - said there needs to be designated places where people who 'hate' children can hang out in peace.

In the viral video, Soja - who lives in Melbourne, Australia - said: "I would like to know when somebody is planning on opening an adults only suburb where everything in it is only for adults.

"I'm so sick of going places and kids are just everywhere screaming and I just have to put up with it. "

She continued: "I just went for a swim. They have their own pool and they're in the lap lane pool, not swimming laps just jumping in screaming, and that's just allowed because they're allowed everywhere.

"I just feel like for people like me who are evil and hate kids we should have our own suburb where we can just be quiet and undisturbed."
