People horrified after bouncer leaves ‘creepy’ note for blacked out woman

The note was extremely specific about the events of the night

Social media users were left feeling creeped out after a reading a note that a bouncer had written for someone who had blacked out the night before.

The morning after a night out is never a fun experience, but it's made all the more horrifying if you're left with patchy memories of what happened during your intoxicated state, or worse, if you don't know where you are.

Having some kind of clue to offer context for the morning-after situation could be reassuring, or, as proven by this particular note, could just leave you feeling more uneasy.

An image of the note shared on Reddit immediately encouraged the reader not to panic, before advising that paracetamol, bottled water and the bathroom were all on hand for any lingering aches and pains.

It then launched into answering a series of probable questions the reader might have, including "Where am I?," "Where is my...?," and "What now?"

While these are all useful things to have answers to when your head feels like it's stuffed full of cotton wool, this is where things start to get a bit creepy.

The note was left by the bed of the reader.

In response to the first question, the author had explained that the reader was 'in the spare bedroom of the bouncer you were talking to last night'.

"You weren't in a state to be left alone, wouldn't/couldn't get in a taxi, and none of your friends were answering their phone," it continued.

The note went on to pinpoint the whereabouts of the user's phone, as well as 'tight fitting jewelry' and 'clothing [they] threw up on'.

As for 'What now?', the note explained: "Whatever you like, sneak out without a word... or stay in bed, there's clean towels on the bannister, possibly food in the fridge, a sticker with the WiFi password on it... Netflix on the TV..."

This all sounds like quite a nice setup for an AirBnB, but it's just made all the more uncomfortable by the reader's assumed lack of knowledge about how they got there, and the fact that they were apparently stripped of their clothes.

The note was posted to the Reddit page 'Made Me Smile', but not everyone agreed with that reaction.

Reddit users were horrified by the note.

Responding to the post, one person wrote: "Considering the font, design layout, and how specific the content of the message, it seems he's a pro at bringing people home. I'd panic!"

Another commented: "Probably not the best idea to take someone’s clothes off while they are passed out."

And a third wrote: "I’d like to think this person was conscious when they came back to the house & took off their own soiled sweater to be washed and this note is just to cover the bases in the morning in case they don’t remember. (If not, then yeah, definitely a bit creepy… although I guess there are much worse places you could end up.)"

Hopefully, the fact the reader was able to share the note indicates they got out of the house okay and that the author was actually just being nice.

However, that's definitely the best of a number of possible, and potentially horrifying, outcomes.
