Baba Vanga has some seriously alarming predictions that could start coming true from next week

Famed mystic Baba Vanga died in 1996, but prior to shuffling off her mortal coil she made sure to make a number of startling predictions for the years ahead - including 2025.

Christmas has come and gone, and now we're all focused on New Year's celebrations.

I think we can all agree that 2024 was a lot, so the arrival of 2025 is something to look forward to - but Baba Vanga's predictions may signal tumultuous times ahead.

Vanga, who died aged 84, was born without sight but claimed to have the ability to predict the future from childhood.

The predictions of the Bulgarian mystic stretch all the way to 5079 - but let's focus on 2025, shall we?

War in Europe

Considering the state of the world and the constant tensions, this isn't groundbreaking on the face of it.

Vanga's prediction, however, focused on a war between two European countries, that will be 'devastating'.

Human telepathy becomes reality

According to Vanga, it will be possible to read the minds of others - something a lot of us have wanted to do for many, many years.

Scientists will unveil research that allows them to harness brainwaves for direct communication, it was predicted.

Yep, Vanga predicted that the racing star would win yet another championship - making it his eighth victory.

Aliens make contact during a major sporting event

Vanga claimed that not only will aliens make contact with humans in 2025, but it would be during a sport's event. Perhaps the Super Bowl, or Wimbledon? Time will tell.

It's been predicted that scientists will find a way to grow human organs in a lab next year, potentially putting an end to miles-long waiting lists.

This advancement would have the potential to extend the life expectancy of us mere mortals to up to 120... I'm exhausted just thinking about it, to be honest.

A mysterious new energy source is discovered

For the final prediction, Vanga really pulled out the big guns.

If her ideas are to be believed, scientists will yet again announce a huge advancement which will be their discovery of an entirely new clean and limitless energy source.

However, the source of the energy may in fact not be communicated to the public, likely to alarm people all over the globe.
