You glance at your phone and notice it’s 11:11 p.m. It’s not the first time this has happened either and it tends to occur whenever you need something or someone to lift your spirits.

Anyone who follows Paris Hilton on Twitter (no known as X) will remember her consistently telling her follows to make a wish at 11:11. So what does it all mean? And does 11:11 bring good luck?

“It’s true, I have seen this a lot right before big things happen for me,” one person on Reddit claimed in a thread about the number, as another added: “I see this all the time!”

While a third person shared: “I have seen this a lot throughout my life but last year not so much. Last year was in fact a year of low vibration and negativity.

“Then I went on a trip to India with the purpose of changing my mindset and get rid of my fears and doubts.

“Half way in I found myself happy and in a flow I have never been in my life before. That's when it all started to happen. I saw 11:11 everywhere. I mean everywhere. And things suddenly went my way."

Someone else recalled: "Years ago, I had never heard of anything special about 11:11, but started seeing it so many times a day I googled it. It started innocently, look at the clock, 11:11 ok whatever. Later that night look at the clock at exactly 11:11 again, ha weird.

"Next day the same thing. This continues everyday until it started popping up in other ways, I’d even catch it on the microwave which was set wrong, as well as the accurate clocks at the right times. I got curious enough to google it, that’s when I learned it was a thing."

So, what does it mean?
