Woman Shocked To Find Teeth And Hair Growing Inside Her Uterus

This is the stuff of nightmares.

A woman has told of her horror after being told there was "hair and teeth" growing inside her uterus.

After giving birth to her son, TikTok user @sandwitchbread went to the doctor about some abnormal bleeding she was experiencing.

Watch what happened here:

Dermoid cysts, which are usually harmless, are growths of tissue - foetal tissue in this woman's case - in a pocket of cells that can grow in unexpected locations of the body and need to be surgically removed.

The sac of cells can often contain other material inside it, including:

  • Bone.
  • Fluid.
  • Hair.
  • Nerves.
  • Skin.
  • Sweat glands.
  • Teeth.

Joking that she had been hoping she wasn't pregnant again, the TikToker said that instead, she had been carrying around "particles of [her] son" growing in her uterus for the last two years.

Needless to say, followers were speechless when they heard the mother's story.

"Everyday this app provides me with another reason to remove my uterus" wrote one viewer.

"😀😀😀 I have never wanted to have a child less than today" commented another.

"No one told me my spawn might leave seedlings I’m calling the police" joked a third.

One viewer revealed that her mum had a similar experience, commenting: "My mom had one of those removed when she was 28. To this day she calls it my “cyster” 😩"

A second woman, who had had her own dermoid cyst removed added: "I had one, 9cm. Surgically removed a year ago. Super easy day stay procedure. Freaky part is *drum roll* I’ve had mine since birth 😎"

Another wrote: "I had the same cyst but it was my particles! I carried them for 27 years 💀💀💀"

After going viral on TikTok, the mum shared an update with followers to let them know that she is getting the cysts removed soon due to the "dull pain" one is causing her.

Adding that she plans to keep the cysts after they're removed, she promised followers that she would reveal what they look like as soon as she receives them.

Near fear: unlocked.
