A woman on TikTok has shared a mega easy way to opening spaghetti - and we can't believe we've never tried this before.

If you've ever ripped open a bag of spaghetti and ended up with strands all over the floor, then this one's for you.

The trick is so simple, and requires no scissors.

You can watch a clip of it below:

Originally revealed by TikToker Elda - aka @nonna.elda.cooks - other social media users have been trying out the trick for themselves - and it's so impressive.

"If this works and I never knew about it, and I'm Italian, I'm going to be very devastated," Another user said.

Not only is it quick and easy, but it keeps all the spaghetti in place.

One person commented on the video: "I didn't know that was a thing that could be done. So cool!"

People are loving the trick (

In other kitchen hacks, we recently told you about a measuring spoon hack that people say has 'changed their life'.

We've all faced the same baking conundrum - you need to add a tablespoon of honey (or something of a similar stickiness) to your bowl, but end up leaving half of it on the spoon.

Well one person has come up with a genius idea - and people are blown away by the trick, with many wondering how they never thought of it themselves.

You can watch a video below:

One person wrote: "This blew mine and my wife’s mind!!!!!! Thanks for this simple yet life changing tip!"
