A new bar has opened up in London promising tequila-based cocktails on tap. Instead of pouring pints, the bartenders will be serving up delicious and refreshing cocktails straight from a keg.
The pop-up bar will be based in Shoreditch and will only open for one weekend, offering a selection of classic tequila-based cocktails.
Margaritas and palomas are both on offer, as well as tequila and tonic (Mexican Dynamite), tequila and lemonade (Luchador Lemonade), and tequila and soda (Soda El Dorado).
The bar will also be offering tequila masterclasses for those who want to become experts in the delicious Mexican spirit. Tequila expert Oliver Pergl will be hosting sessions during the weekend to teach you about various types of tequila, what they go best with, and even how to taste the difference.

Bookings for Pergl's sessions are currently open but slots are expected to fill up quickly so you better be quick if you want to the opportunity to become the tequila expert among your friends – picture the scene, you're at a bar and your friend orders a tequila shot but you say no, that one won't taste good with lime. Bartenders may despise you but it'll be worth it.
The tequila taproom will be open from September 10 to September 12, 12pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday and 12pm to 9pm on Sunday.
As any good bar would have, the tequila taproom has provided a DJ to play some tunes for you to dance to while you sip your tequila, as well as fun table games, and a gorgeous decor that will make all your Instagram followers appropriately jealous.

For those who can't make it to the tequila taproom this weekend, do not despair because there are plenty of amazing tequila bars in London to satisfy your cravings – sadly though, they won't have tequila on tap but that doesn't mean they won't be just as good.
Visit Hacha or Del74 in Dalston, The Pink Chihuahua or La Bodega Nega in Soho, or Call Me Mr Lucky in London Bridge for a range of delicious tequila-based drinks.
