Arnold Schwarzenegger has unusual reaction to son's X-rated nude scene after viewers were left seriously 'creeped out'

Season three of The White Lotus has officially landed, and everyone is going on about that controversial Patrick Schwarzenegger nude scene - including his famous father.

Appearing on the red carpet to support his 31-year-old son, Arnold issued a statement on the X-rated scene that seemingly blindsided reporters.

For those out of the loop with the hotly-debated TV moment, it occurs in the very first episode of the new series.

Set in Thailand, the latest instalment kicks off by welcoming the likes of Natasha Rothwell, Jason Isaacs, and Aimee Lou Wood alongside Schwarzenegger to the new tropical (and scandalous) hotel.

The latter plays Saxon, the eldest son of the wealthy Ratliff family, who visits the island with his siblings Piper and Lochlan, played by Sarah Catherine Hook and Sam Nivola.

As we say, despite the success of the first two series', one aspect of the latest instalment has left viewers at home seriously 'creeped out' by hints of a potentially incestuous relationship between the three siblings, and a totally nude scene including Schwarzenegger.

After arriving at the luxury resort, Saxon moans that his sister Piper should not sleep in the same room as the youngest child Lochlan, as they have 'full grown genitals'.

In the end, Saxon and Lochlan share a room, with one scene showing Saxon make a number of remarks about his sister’s attractiveness and sex life and asks about his brother’s taste in porn.

Schwarzenegger's character Saxon then wonders how he’ll be able to 'jerk off all week' with his brother in the room, before walking to the bathroom fully nude.

As we say, the explicit scene has garnered mass attention from fans of the show, many of whom claimed they were left 'creeped out' by its surrounding context.

One individual that couldn't be more thrilled with the scene, however, is Schwarzenegger's father, fellow actor Arnold.

Speaking to press at the premiere of the show yesterday (17 Feb), the Terminator front-man even made reference to his own previously risque antics.

"What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say," the 77-year-old told Vanity Fair. "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Arnold went on to warn fans of the series: "Don't miss it this Sunday - trust me."

Whilst he didn't explicitly say so, Arnold may well have been referencing the iconic super-bulked look he was often seen sporting in the 1970s and 80s.

At this time, whilst kick-starting his own acting career, the Austrian-born star was also a competitive bodybuilder, and as such, wasn't afraid to get his kit off for certain on-screen roles - including Stay Hungry, and Red Heat.

As we say, however, his son's latest stark-naked appearance hasn't gone down too well with all viewers.

"What creeps me out about this trio [the Ratliff siblings] that I can't decide who is the creep, the vibe check is all over the place," one wrote on X (formerly Twitter) this week.

"Is she preying on the younger brother? Did the older brother prey on her? Is the younger brother preying on both? Mike White, what have you DONE?"

A second hit out: "Patrick Schwarzenegger congrats on somehow becoming the creepiest White Lotus character ever within the first episode."

"Seeing Patrick Schwarzenegger’s scene in The White Lotus…" quipped a third, whilst a fourth noted: "Patrick Schwarzenegger in S3 E1 of The White Lotus…".
