A major milestone was reached for one contestant of the reality TV series Virgin Island last night, after they finally bid adieu to their v-card.
The steamy moment was televised for Channel 4 viewers during the final instalment of the hotly-debated show (27 May), and has since left a plethora of fans with one burning question.
For those unfamiliar with the premise of the series, it kicked off with a group of individuals - none of whom have ever engaged in sexual intercourse - shipped off to a luxury holiday resort in Croatia.

There, they were essentially partnered up with sex and relationship experts, who were given the task of guiding them to overcoming their barriers when it comes to physical intimacy.
The professionals were also tasked with tackling any underlying sexual trauma that a contestant might have.
Among those in the line-up for the show was 24-year-old Dave who, throughout the series, has formed a bond with 'surrogate partner' and sex therapist Kat Slade.

Earlier in the show, Kat vowed to help 'individuals move through physical and emotional barriers to achieve greater intimacy and sexual expression'. Her role on the show also means she is willing to have sex with the participants if the relationship progresses naturally.
And for those who haven't yet sank their teeth into the final episode, we witnessed Dave enjoying his final therapy session with Kat, during which the pair got hot and heavy under the sheets.
Viewers could hear the pair breathing and groaning, with their rumble eventually coming to a rather audible climax.
"I feel good about being the person with him at that important moment," Kat later admitted during a confessional.
Dave added: "I am proud I can finally say I am not a virgin anymore.

"I have a lot of catching up to do but I feel like I am on the board now. Now I can go and properly progress with some idea of what I am doing."
He continued: "The fact I am no longer a virgin is great, it's such a relief."
As we say, the 'success' of Dave's journey with physical intimacy has left a number of Virgin Island viewers wondering one thing in particular - when will the next series land?!
Taking to social media last night, one wondered: "Wonder if this gets a second series #VirginIsland."

Another noted: "It would be good to see how everyone is getting on 3 months from now."
"If there isn’t an another series of this I will be extremely disappointed," a third confessed. "I thought it would just be a laugh but actually it’s been weirdly interesting."
A fourth went on to joke: "Are we all signing up for the next series!"

"Guys if you haven’t already you actually have to watch Virgin Island," another added.
"It’s the best thing I’ve ever watched but also the worst thing I’ve ever seen. It’s so conflicting morally but get me a season 2 immediately please?"
