Fans have claimed The Simpsons is 'always right' after comparing one character to Elon Musk in yet another eerie prediction.

The Simpsons has long been known to correctly predict many past events, including Donald Trump's presidency and the global pandemic. But fans have claimed that the show has gone and 'done it again' - this time concerning tech Elon Musk.

Viewers have compared the tech CEO's recent chainsaw-wielding antics to Hank Scorpio, who appears as a supervillain in the cartoon classic.

The tech billionaire was seen waving a chainsaw around the stage during the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday (19 Feb), as he discussed a number of political issues, beginning with his claims that Joe Biden's 'failed' to recover astronauts that are currently stranded in space.

It seems that the electric tool was a reference to the chainsaw he is currently taking to the federal government, in his new role as lead of the Department of Government Efficiency.

The evil Simpsons character Musk has been compared to appears in the episode 'You Only Move Twice', where the Simpson family decide to relocate to a scenic town where Homer has bagged a new job.

But he later discovers that his new boss, Scorpio - the villain in question - just happens to be hell-bent on taking over the world.

During the final scenes, the character can be seen firing a flamethrower - and this happens to be one of the most significant similarities between the two.

Musk himself started selling flamethrowers in 2018, and reportedly made around $10 million from the creation.

But it's not just fans of the show who have compared him to the evil villain, Musk himself has previously made the connection.

Posting on X in 2019, he said: "Just because he has a flamethrower and I have a flamethrower doesn’t mean … um … ok fine I’m Hank Scorpio."

Viewers quickly clocked onto the show's latest prediction, as Musk has now been appointed a role in government by president Trump, and is growingly increasingly more connected with the US.

One said: "There is a Simpsons episode where Elon Musk takes over Springfield. And does what he is doing now. The Simpsons are always right."

Another added: "Elon Musk is Hank Scorpio. We need to face this reality," as a third wrote: "Elon Musk has now reached the Hank Scorpio stage of being a billionaire."

"Elon Musk talks a big game about high minded sci-fi, but so far the only piece of fiction he's actually managed to bring to life is The Simpsons," a fourth added.

The billionaire has been making headlines in regards to his children in recent times, including him being slammed online after bringing three of them to a political meeting in India.

His four-year-old son X Æ A-12, and his three-year-old siblings Azure and Strider, accompanied the Tesla founder to meet the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 13 February.

Ex-partner Grimes also publicly appealed to him to stop 'ignoring their child's medical crisis', before swiftly deleting the tweets.
