Halloween is just around the corner and a whole bunch of new films sure to raise your pulse have just hit cinemas to bring on spooky season with a bang.

From the spine-shuddering body horror starring Demi Moore, The Substance, all the way through to the psychological thriller starring James McAvoy, Speak No Evil, it's clear there's heaps to watch on the big screen to get your heart racing.

But one in particular comes with a pretty serious warning as the 'sadistic' horror flick is so 'disturbing' that people have reportedly walked out of the cinema.

The movie in question is the third instalment of a pretty controversial film franchise which first entered our lives back in 2016.

And, any die-hard fans of the blood and guts horror will have been buzzing when the countdown for the latest film was finally over last Friday (11 October) after it was released in cinemas across the UK.

The film in question revolves around the gruesome Art the Clown, played by David Howard Thornton, and his accomplice Vicky Heyes (Samantha Scaffidi) as they pursue Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera).

If you hadn't already guessed it, the movie is none other than Terrifier 3.

Warning: This video contains graphic content which some readers may find distressing:

Naturally, the film provoked quite the reaction on social media, with many rushing to X to share their thoughts.

One X user penned: X: "Jesus. #Terrifier3 is absolutely depraved. Damien Leone continues to push the boundaries to gloriously demented results. The effects are top notch, the Christmas aesthetic works to perfection."

Another quipped: "#Terrifier3 is a little more thought out story wise, it’s still very much a gorefest in the kill dept."

A third praised: "The best film in the franchise! Absolutely amazing, deranged, brilliant, horrifying, and hilarious all at the same time!"

And a final X user claimed: "Terrifier 3 is so scary that even a paper bag warning is given to those who feel nauseous after watching the gore scene that is beyond reason."

Terrifier 3 now actually comes with a warning after one cinema put up a poster informing customers over the 'nature' of the film.

The statement, which was shared by Terrifier 3's official X account, reads: "Due to the nature of this film, we would like to inform customer that if they start to feel

queasy or light headed during the showing of Terrifier 3, to please come speak to a member of staff.

"We will be able to sort you a seat and a cup of water."

The poster also shared the BBFC Ratings for the film which saw violence rated as 5/5, injury detail as 5/5, threat and horror as 4/5, language as 4/5 and sex as 4/5 too.

Reckon you'll be braving it this Halloween and giving it a go?

Terrifier 3 is currently available to watch in selected cinemas across the UK.
