Gogglebox fans were left heartbroken at the weekend when it was announced that a much-loved couple - who had appeared on the show together for several years - have called time on their six-year marriage.
And now, one member of the former duo has broken his silence on the shock split.
Stephen Lustig and his husband Daniel Webb - who tied the knot in 2018 - broke the sad news via The Sun on Sunday evening (21 April), claiming they'd always remain 'forever friends'.

For those unfamiliar with their on-screen romance, Stephen first appeared on the Channel 4 telly-watching series alongside then-boyfriend Chris Ashby-Steed in 2013.
In the years that followed, however, the couple split, Chris quit the show, and Stephen began appearing side-by-side with his comedically-timed late mother Pat in 2017.
It wasn't until two years later that 52-year-old Stephen's new love interest Daniel, 43 - with whom he shared ownership of a hair salon in Brighton - began sitting beside him on the sofa.
Since then, the loved-up couple have remained a firm favourite on British TV, making knee-slapping remarks every Friday night while binging that week's top shows, along with their dogs.
You can only imagine viewers' devastation, therefore, when it was announced in October last year that they'd quit Gogglebox, explaining in a statement that it was time for the pair to turn off the TV.
"After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox," Stephen wrote on Instagram at the time. "We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities."
And since then, it isn't just the couple's new professional life that has taken some getting used to - it's their personal life too.
That's right, after six years together, Stephen and Daniel announced yesterday that they'd gone their separate ways.
"It’s with much sadness Daniel and I have decided to divorce," the Stephen told the news outlet.
"There is, and always will be, a lot of love there but we’ve unfortunately grown apart and made the decision to part ways."
Meanwhile, Daniel added: "We’ve made the decision with a very heavy heart to confirm our marriage has come to an end.
"I’m sure we will forever be friends."
And apparently, the former flames are still sticking to their promise of an amicable break-up, after Stephen today broke his silence on the matter with a hilarious video.
Sharing a clip of he and his ex-hubby riding a tandem bike together, the hairdresser made light of the split, penning in the caption: "Riding tandem straight out of this marriage #beryl #bff."
