MAFS UK viewers can’t get over Ross’ strategy for ‘putting Sacha on mute’ in middle of argument

Things have been seriously heating up this week on Married At First Sight UK and last night's episode (22 October) was no different.

Now, for some context, things have got pretty tense in the past few days after Lacey dropped the major bombshell that Hannah and Orson 'lipsed', despite being married to Stephen and Rochelle respectively, prompting both sets of couples to leave the experiment.

Alex, who is coupled up with Holly, also hit out at Rochelle for allegedly 'talking sh*t' after she claimed that Orson and Hannah were having a double date with Alex and Holly the previous night.

Sacha, who's married to the show's first deaf contestant Ross, then called out Alex for his behaviour after it was clear that none of the other grooms were planning to.

"Don't do that to me Alex, I don't think you need to turn to Richelle and say 'you're talking f*cking sh*t' and turn to Lacey and say 'you're a snake', there's certain ways of addressing things calmly," she said.

Sacha continued: "You don't need to attack, attack, attack. I've sat here and watched you attack the women either end and it's f*cking me off because I didn't like it Alex."

Alex later told the cameras: "Holly's annoyed, I've told Lacey that I think she's a snake and now you've got Sasha coming at me, just be quiet, your voice is going straight through me.

"If I was Ross, I would be telling my wife to pipe down, not everything needs your two pence."

Sacha and Ross have fallen out following her and Alex's heated conversation earlier this week (Channel 4)

During the whole ordeal, Sacha and Ross came to a clash after she called him out for not sticking up for her.

And now, MAFS UK viewers can’t get over Ross' strategy for allegedly 'putting Sacha on mute' in middle of another one of their arguments, after spotting the groom allegedly closing his eyes so he couldn't lip-read his wife when she was talking to him.

Taking to social media to share their reactions to the exchange, one X user quipped: "Creased at Ross putting Sasha on mute by closing his eyes."

"This man closed his eyes so he couldn’t lip read her," penned a second, while a third exclaimed: "Nah sorry I’m f*cking p*ssing myself laughing, not Ross closing his eyes so he couldn’t lip-read Sacha during their argument lmaooo."

A fourth defended: "In fairness to Ross my Granny used to do similar. If she he didn't like someone she'd turn her hearing aids off and pretend the battery had run out so she didn't have to listen to them."

"Sacha’s impression of Ross ignoring her is KILLING me," echoed another while a final X user hit out: "Throwing your wedding ring at the wall and making a big show of not lip reading is terrible.
