Eagle-eyed Married At First Sight UK viewers spot groom Luke had been on another reality TV show

As the wedding bells rang out on Married At First Sight, viewers spotted a familiar face during the first episode.

It turns out that groom Luke Worley had actually been on another reality series, just a year earlier.

Even more amazingly, the 30-year-old seems to have been continually looking for love on the telly.

Appearing alongside Davina McCall, the sales executive was a former contestant on Language of Love back in 2022.

If you are unfamiliar with the reality show, it paired up British and Spanish singletons with the hope that love really does transcend all boundaries.

As well as the language barrier, UK contestants also had to relocate to be with their new loves and adjust to life in sunny Spain.

Whilst it may have failed to speak to audiences, Essex boy Luke starred in the series after being suddenly dumped out of the blue by his girlfriend.

However, the course of love never did run smoothly and the sales executive soon found himself applying for Married At First Sight UK.

But, improbably, Luke had a brush with viral fame before being cast on The Language of Love.

Back in 2021, he was unlucky in love once again when a woman gave him a fake number while he was on holiday in Greece.

In an incredible coincidence, when Luke tried calling the made-up number, it turned out to belong to Maya Jama.

He told LADbible at the time: "She was really nice about it, she couldn't have been any better.

"A lot of people in the public eye would have probably just put the phone down or something or blocked my number."

The first episode of this year's Married at First Sight UK sees Luke tie the knot with bubbly Jay, who is a sales manager from Lancashire.

Viewers are now praying that Luke finally gets his happy-ever-after, after spotting the familiar face.

Taking to Twitter, or rather X, fans raved about his appearance on MAFS and spoke about the recurring reality star on social media.

One eagled-eyed viewer wrote: "Got it! Luke was on Davina McCall's The Language of Love!! #MAFSUK."

Another added: "Luke was on that Language of Love dating show last year if anyone else thought he looked familiar #MAFSUK."

Meanwhile, others gushed about how down-to-earth the groom and his blushing bride.

In a sweet post about the pair, they commented: “Luke and Jay were all rooting for you don’t let us down pls. #MAFSUK."

A fourth then added: “Jay & Luke. I’ve known you for an hour but I am already emotionally invested in you both and if you don’t last then what is the point in love at all? #MAFSUK."

Thankfully, it seems the couple are off to a strong start as Jay and Luke were equally excited about their big day.

The 30-year-old even said his betrothed looked ‘beautiful’ during the first episode, with the bridesmaids all seemingly impressed by the match.
