One of the stars of Married at First Sight UK has spoken out about not being invited to the show’s reunion.

The most recent series of the popular social experiment was once again filled with drama.

But one person who has missed out on reflecting all the ups and downs with her cast mates is 2024 MAFS UK star Charlie Curtis.

The 30-year-old operations coordinator from Surrey was paired with Eve Reid, a 31-year-old fitness instructor from Omagh, Northern Ireland.

The pair met at the altar at the start of the matchmaking reality show. Charlie said she came out as gay aged 25, calling it ‘one of the most significant moments’ in her life. She also told the experts she had been single for four years after a difficult breakup and hoped they would be able to find her more than a ‘situationship’.

“I’m at the age now where I want to settle down,” she shared.

Sadly, the couple were not endgame, as they called it quits and decided to leave the experiment after struggling with trust and communication issues.

The issues initially appeared during the honeymoon episodes, and things didn’t improve when they returned home. They often struggled to agree on things, and Eve refused to move in with Charlie to their new apartment.

A handful of 2024 cast members will reunite for a special episode, which is slated to air in time for Valentine’s Day next year.

However, Charlie will not be in attendance. Speaking at the Tulley’s Christmas Light Festival, she told The Sun: “I mean apparently my story was over by the end of the series.

"I am a bit annoyed about it I’m not going to lie, but I guess everything happens for a reason, so maybe there was a reason I wasn’t supposed to be there.

"It’s time to close the door on that chapter."

The pair have cut ties and Charlie is back at her regular job and is keen to start a new chapter. In October she hard launched a new relationship on Instagram.

Married At First Sight UK wasn't Charlie’s first stint on reality television.

In 2022, she appeared on Lovestruck High, an Amazon Prime Video reality show hosted by Lindsay Lohan that saw a number of singles sent to try to fall in love in an American 'High School' setting.
