MAFS UK viewers make same comparison to previous couple that didn’t end well

Married at First Sight is giving viewers a case of déjà vu after noticing some pretty icky similarities between one couple this season and a couple from two years go.

While it’s only just begun, the series has already provided a hell of a lot of issues between brides and grooms.

But the worst couple at the moment seems to be Adam Nightingale and Polly Sellman.

That’s because the 33-year-old has been repeatedly putting down his bride, 28.

Red flags have been rife with the pair from the start, with Adam telling the cameras after his nuptials: "The initial attraction's not 100 percent there. She's not my usual type. 10 out of 10 for me would be petite, brunette, dark features, tan. She's not what I expected."

When Polly’s bestie, Alfie confronted him with it, Adam admitted he's usually attracted to brunettes... but can see Polly's 'bubbly personality'.

However, it’s the latest episode which saw it all go to s**t.

Not only has he been clearly disrespecting Polly’s looks, but now he’s lusting after Lacey Martin, the wife of fellow contestant, Nathan Campbell.

After pestering Nathan about whether Lacey wore a thong bikini and how his head turns when she’s in the room, viewers can’t help but compare this situation to a cheating scandal a couple of years ago.

Aka the Matt and Gemma situation with Whitney.

Ah, how can anyone forget it?

Whitney, who was married to Duka, decided that she was better paired with Matt, who couldn’t stand his wife’s sexual jokes.

The reveal that the couple had been cheating was an absolute shock, and fans think it’s about to happen again.

One person wrote on X: “Does anyone else see the similarity of the situation of Adam and Polly with Gemma and Matt.”

Another said: "Okay I’m seeing signs of Matt and Gemma in Polly and Adam for sure."

A third tweeted: "Nah you cannot tell me [Polly] and Adam don't look like Matt and Gemma from a couple years back."

However, you might think that years on, Matt has some regrets, especially since he didn’t work out with Whitney.

But you’d be wrong as he actually doubled-down during an Instagram chat, saying he doesn't feel any remorse over cheating on hairdresser Gemma.

Even though Whitney and Duka's marriage did not get off to a good start, after she ruined their vows, refused to kiss him, and even forgot his name at the wedding, nobody expected her to cheat.

Matt said: "Like I just said in the previous story, this was filmed in April through to June so it is pre-recorded. So right now, no, things obviously got a little bit messy afterward."

Maybe Adam can turn it around before it gets to this stage.
