We're just two days away from Christmas, and I'm sure many of us have been spending our evenings and weekends watching endless hours of our all-time favourite throwback festive flicks.
And up there with everyone's go-to December viewing material, of course, Love Actually - AKA the tear-jerking, multi-layered rom-com which hit cinemas back in 2003.
As we all know, the film follows the tangled and complicated love lives of various couples during Christmas time.
Whether you're talking about Mark (Andrew Lincoln), who falls in love with his best mate's wife, Juliet (Keira Knightley), who responds to his pass at her by kissing him on the lips or the tear-jerking affair Harry (Alan Rickman) had while married to Karen (Emma Thompson) - it's clear there's a whole lot going on in the box-office smash.

And despite the film being over 20 years old, fans are still finding new hidden details about their favourite plotlines, including the heartbreaking reason Karen straightens the bed during the famous gift-giving scene.
But the latest update in the saga is to do with a whole other scene, which makes the Karen storyline so much worse.
Now, it all started when Harry had sneakily bought his secretary, Mia (Heike Makatsch), a pricey gold necklace for a Christmas gift, which was impeccably wrapped by Rowan Atkinson's character, Rufus.
He was also out shopping with his wife Karen, at the time of purchase, btw.

When the pair got home, Karen found the necklace hidden in Harry's coat pocket and believed it was a gift for her.
However, when they all exchanged presents, it became very clear that the gift was not for her, as she received a Joni Mitchell record instead.
Before knowing all this, though, Karen appeared to have dressed and accessorised in a certain way to match the gold heart pendant featuring a red-coloured stone, likely a ruby, as she was under the impression she'd wear it the night of the school concert.

She opted for deep-red earrings, a red cardigan, and red lipstick, ready to match the £270 bling she believed would be hers - something that Love Actually fans are still welling up over.
"The way she matched her earrings to the necklace. The way she holds it together for the kids. The way she pats down the bed. I stand with Emma Thompson," one TikTok user commented on a video of the scene.
A second chimed in: "WAIT. What do you mean she matched her earrings?! How have I NEVER noticed that???"
"I’ve always said the earrings, lipstick and cardigan all ready to match it is the saddest part of all," echoed another.
Brb, just bawling my eyes out.
