I'm A Celeb viewers have the same question after spotting something missing from first episode

I'm A Celeb viewers have the same question after spotting something missing from first episode

The 2024 instalment of I'm A Celeb kicked off tonight (17 November), but one aspect of the show has left viewers puzzled

We're just an hour into the 2024 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and viewers already have one complaint about the show.

The first episode of this year's I'm A Celeb has been jam packed to say the least, the highlights being that there's already been two mentions of the whole 'Wagatha Christie' saga'. Would we expect anything less, though?

First off, Ant and Dec made a 'hilarious' joke about Coleen Rooney right off the bat, before fellow contestant Dean McCullough left viewers cringing as he made an 'awkward' comment to the WAG, who fortunately took the whole thing on the chin.

But viewers have also been left scratching their heads over one key detail after tuning in.

When ITV announced this year's official line-up, it was believed that 12 stars were set to appear.

Confirmed to be joining presenters Ant and Dec on this year's series were the likes of Coleen, McFly musician Danny Jones, Strictly Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse, Loose Women panellist Jane Moore, Radio 1 star Dean, N-Dubz front-woman Tulisa and boxing promoter Barry McGuigan.

The line-up also features kids television presenter Melvin Odoom taking part, alongside Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall and TikTok influencer GK Barry.

And Love Island bombshell Maura Higgins and radio host and author Rev Richard Coles were also among those mentioned to be in the running.

Strangely, however, when producers released a 'first look' at this year's stars donning their jungle gear, the latter two celebrities were missing, leading many to believe they'd be making a surprise appearance Down Under in the following days.

Now, convinced that no-nonsense islander Maura will serve as one of the show’s two famous 'late entrants' - introduced several days into the season to stir up some drama within the camp - some 'bored' viewers have demanded they drop the Irish reality star into the jungle ASAP.

"get maura higgins in that jungle immediately im bored already," one begged.

Another demanded: "where the bloody hell is maura".

"When is Maura coming?" a third asked, before another added: "How long till Maura comes in?".

A fifth then admitted: "I’m so excited watching this but I want to see Maura".

I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
