Viewers are absolutely obsessed with a deliciously 'naughty' new series with all-star cast that has an almost perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.

The eight-part Disney+ drama features a bunch of famous faces, including the likes of David Tenant, Danny Dyer and Alex Hassell just to name a few.

It only hit our screens last Friday but already has an impressive 94% on the prestigious Tomatometer.

Set in 1980s England, the series follows a deep rivalry between two powerful men - Lord Tony Baddingham (Tenant) and Rupert Campbell-Black (Hassell) - which finally comes to a head.

The highly-anticipated adaptation of Dame Jilly Cooper’s bestselling 'bonkbuster' Rutshire Chronicles novel dives headfirst into the cutthroat world of TV, 'where hair-dos are big and ambitions are even bigger'.

Deals aren't only brokered in boardrooms, but in bedrooms as well...

The series in question is none other than Rivals and you can check out the official trailer here:

Soundtracked by Wham! and Robert Palmer, Rivals also sees Poldark’s Aidan Turner as TV presenter Declan O’Hara, while The Inbetweeners star, Emily Atack, plays adulterous wife Sarah Stratton.

Without giving away too much at this time, we encounter Sarah playing a game of full-frontal naked tennis with Rupert in the very first episode, which really sets the scene for the rest of the series.

The 'highly sexed' romp also features six extremely graphic lovemaking scenes, also in the first episode, including a pretty memorable threesome with Dyer's character, Freddie Jones.

Unsurprisingly, with an impressive near-perfect on Rotten Tomatoes, people couldn't wait to share their rave reviews for the 'raunchy' new programme with one X user writing: "First episode of #Rivals on Disney+ was wonderfully naughty and so much fun.

"Undoubtedly the most fun thing you’ll see on TV this year."

A second chirped: " Just binge-watched the whole of Rivals by Jilly Cooper on Disney Plus.

"Glossy, naughty trash TV at its absolute finest. Do not expect anything cerebral, but definitely worth a watch."

"I turned on Rivals on Disney+ and the first thing I see is an arse," warned a third, while another gushed: "I watched the first episode of Rivals earlier today and just about to watch more.

"Rivals is funny and raunchy! Very raunchy!"

And a final X user declared: "This is the best f*cking thing Disney+ has put out in a very long time. I’m obsessed."

Well, that's this week's viewing material sorted!

Rivals is currently available to stream on Disney+.
