A reality star’s jaw-dropping weight loss transformation has left people ‘inspired’ and ‘emotional’.
Over the years, we’ve seen a number of reality TV shows following the lives of individuals who are trying to shed the pounds - and viewers are always so invested.
Take 1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton for example, who quickly developed a dedicated fanbase after she lost 500lbs on the TLC series.
Fans have followed Tammy’s journey as she lost weight and underwent skin removal surgery, showering her with support every step of the way.

Other notable shows that have gripped audiences include My 600-lb Life, The Biggest Loser, and Secret Eaters.
And someone from one programme in particular has undergone an incredible transformation, so much so you probably wouldn't recognise them.
Casey King, 40, appeared on the American TLC show Family By the Ton back in 2018, weighing 845 pounds when he first graced our screens.

He revealed how he had to bathe in an outdoor trough because he couldn't physically fit inside a bath or shower.
Casey was living with his dad, Danny, who had to wait on him during filming.
In 2019, he underwent life-changing bariatric surgery - a vertical sleeve gastrectomy - initially lost 70 pounds after the procedure and has since shed 600 pounds, after working on a complete health and lifestyle change.
In 2023, it was reported that he was down to 245 pounds as he gave fans an emotional update on the Truly series Brand New Me.

On the show, Casey explained: “My lifestyle at my heaviest was kind of non-existent. I didn't really like people. I didn't like being seen. I didn't like socialising.
“I felt like a freak show. I didn't shower inside. I showered in a trough tub outside for a while.”
And in the update, dad Danny fought back tears as he added: “I never in my wildest dreams would have thought he would have got down to what he is now. It's been one hell of a journey, and I tell you what, I'm so proud of him.”
Last year, Casey took to Instagram to share another update on his progress with side-by-side before and after photos, as well as some snaps of him loving life now.

In the caption, he emotionally reflected on his journey as he turned 40 years old, writing that most people ‘wouldn’t have thought he’d make it’ to that age.
Casey wrote: “As I enter my 40th year of life I have to think back and reflect on the year before. I feel like most people that knew me 6 to 10 years ago wouldn’t have thought I’d make it to 40 and to those people I say 'GOTCHO ASSSSSSSS'.”
He continued: “I really don’t know how I made it this far, I really thought at one time I’d be dead before 40 and now at 40 I’m in close to the best health of my life….. kinda #weird tbh

“I just wanna thank everyone that’s followed me along the way, I wanna say #thankyou to everyone for the constant #love and #support and just embracing my weirdness and allowing me to be #me.”
Fans of Casey who know him from the reality show rushed to the comments to share their support.
One user penned: “You are literally one of the most inspiring people I’ve ever come across. Incredible resilience and determination fr.”
A second added: “WOW!!! I’m watching the show and couldn’t wait to see your progress! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU AND HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!”
And a third commented: “Legendary win, you are an example for me.”
Meanwhile, someone else wrote: “Dude you inspired to lose weight. I was 230 back in July now I’m currently at 195. Thank you!”
Another Instagram user said: “Been keeping track of your progress for years now and you inspire me to do better all the time, it lightens my day every time I see you doing well.”
Hear, hear - congratulations Casey!
