Britney and her sister Jamie Lynn have had a tumultuous relationship in recent years stemming from the former's conservatorship

Now that the I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! lineup has been unveiled, fans of the show and Britney Spears have vowed to vote Jamie Lynn Spears for ‘every Bushtucker Trial’.

News of the Zoey 101 star’s participation in the new series comes a mere few weeks after her pop superstar sister released her bombshell memoir, The Woman in Me.

The Spears sisters have had a tumultuous relationship in recent years, with Jamie Lynn recently saying during an interview for Special Forces: World's Toughest Test: “Growing up, my sister became famous — worldwide famous — when I was very young.

“It just feels like every time I work really hard to get something on my own, it’s not really worth it.”

Jamie then noted: “I’m so proud of her, love her to death, but I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really have anything for myself.”

After unfollowing her sister on Instagram in January 2022, Britney wrote in her book about the time when she was forced to take an involuntary trip to rehab in early 2019.

She wrote: "My father said that if I didn't go, then I'd have to go to court, and I'd be embarrassed."

The 'Everytime' singer also revealed she was prescribed lithium and was kept there 'against [her] will' for months on end.

"I couldn't go outside," she continued. "I couldn't drive a car. I had to give blood weekly. I couldn't take a bath in private. I couldn't shut the door to my room."

The mum-of-two opened up about reaching out to her sister, 32, from the facility for help.

According to Britney, the Sweet Magnolias star simply told her: "Stop fighting it. There's nothing you can do about it, so stop fighting it."

Britney, who clearly felt let down by her sibling, penned: "I didn't understand how Jamie Lynn and our father had developed such a good relationship.

"She knew I was reaching out to her for help... I felt like she should have taken my side."

Britney’s passionate fanbase have been left furious by their alleged feud and have taken to X to make their intentions clear.

One fan commented: “Vote for [Nigel] Farage and Jamie Lynn spears to do all the trials.”

Another fan declared: “Jamie Lynn Spears will get voted to do all the trials which will lead to the public doing a 180 and end up liking her. It is what it is but that line-up doesn't massively impress me.”

Britney Spears released her memoir last month.
