The 32-year-old is married to mechanical engineer Griffin Cleverly, and the pair co-founded the start-up Northwood Space alongside Shaurya Luthra with the goal of revolutionising the communication infrastructure between Earth and satellites in orbit.

In a positive new update, the startup recently secured $30m in seed funding which will go toward expanding the team and refining the technology they use.

Speaking to Bloomberg, she said: “Space is now the domain of much of our critical infrastructure. It’s not, you know, an experimental territory. Space is, it’s industrialized. That’s very core to our mission is supporting an industrialised space economy where missions can’t go down. And so, from a mission standpoint, we are very passionate about the fielding our technology quickly.”
Bridgit first entered the world of showbiz aged just 11 back in 2004 with a voice role in the animated film, The Legend of Buddha.
She then went on to release a whole bunch of music including the tracks; Ready or Not, Hurricane, Determinate and Turn Up the Music.

Posting a sweet snap of her husband, Griffin Cleverly, and their child on a beach during a beautiful sunset, Bridgit captioned the post: "The other news I wanted to share is I’m a mama to a sweet 4yo boy.
"Started fostering in 2021 adopted near Christmas of 2022. I’m so lucky — being a parent is the biggest gift and most defining experience there is."

She added: "That’s my news for now folks."
In other news, Bridgit's former on-screen older brother on Good Luck Charlie had incredible things to say about her new career path.
"She obviously has a great career spirit as an actor and a singer and songwriter, but she's always had this really inventive and creative mind," Jason Dolley told E! News.
"But honestly, she can do whatever she sets her mind to," the 33-year-old added, "and I say, 'Power to you'. Get those satellites off and build a better tomorrow."
