Strictly Come Dancing is back and although everything seems to be smooth on the ballroom floor, BBC bosses reportedly had to step in behind the scenes after Pete Wicks and Jowita Pryzstal broke a rule.
The 36-year-old The Only Way is Essex alum took centre stage on Saturday night (21 September) to perform his first big hit.

It had just been announced the other week that he'd been partnered with Przystał, and the pair were set to perform a Paso Doble last weekend.
However, the former TOWIE star explained that they had been ‘told off’ for doing something in regards to practicing their dance moves.
In his social media post, he expressed how they’d been told off for not posting content about their rehearsals.

He shared: “Right, so, we’ve been told off. We’ve been told off because we haven’t done any social media together from rehearsals.
“So today we’re going to do a Q&A. So you can ask Jowita and I anything, and we’re going to answer your questions in our little breaks. There aren’t many breaks, to be honest with you, but we will answer any questions. So you can ask us anything.”
Then, when asked about what his favourite thing about his partner is, he replied: “That’s easy for me. She is a little ray of sunshine, and I look forward to coming here everyday. She makes me happy."
Pryzstal was given the same question and responded: “The best thing about Pete, he makes me laugh so much. And he’s the most hard-working person I’ve ever met in my life."

The news comes after the Strictly launch show, where Wicks shared just how bad his dance moves are.
"Strictly, it's a whole new world because I have absolutely zero rhythm. But I love a challenge," he said.
The TV personality added: "I think people's opinion of me is that I'm overly confident but this is going to be the most vulnerable I have ever been and I am petrified. I just want to get past week 1. If I can get past week 2..."
But fans think otherwise because even though Wicks has been clear that he’s got no idea how to dance, his first performance was very telling, as well as his song choice.

On a Strictly forum, one person speculated: "My mate reckons Pete being the only one doing the paso in Week One is a ‘power move’ and indicates he’s better than he’s trying to let on in his pre show interviews.
"It shows they’re quietly confident because they could run the risk of negative comparisons to Nigel [Harman's] from last year if it’s a bit naff!"
After Wicks’ performance, fans left comments on his Instagram page talking about how 'harsh' the judges were on his dance moves.

One person said: “They were so harsh on Pete! He’s genuinely starting from zero experience not only of dancing but of all performing, he’s trying SO hard and really wants to learn. I hope he gets the chance to stay in for a few weeks at least! I’ll be voting for him.”
Another wrote: “Who's only watching strictly because Petes in it?”
