If you’re a horror fan, there’s probably nothing better for you than to curl up on the sofa with a chilling flick.

But have you seen this ‘bone chilling’ horror which has got fans absolutely raving?

This 2023 film is making its mark in the community and online users are raving about its likeness to hard-hitting movies.

Possession films are a little like marmite, you either love it or you hate. However, the general consensus for this 1977-themed production is that it’s unlike anything else and grabs your attention throughout.

Following the story of a television broadcast gone horribly wrong, viewers find themselves faced with evil in their own homes.

As it’s also shot as a ‘found footage’ project, viewers were easily immersed in the nightmare night that many people unwittingly found themselves in.

Starring the likes of David Dastmalchian and Laura Gordon, Late Night With The Devil is a hit with fans of the genre.

People have been taking to X to sing their praises, as one raved: “Just finished Late Night With the Devil and WOWWW what a fun ride that was!”

Another wrote: “I loved Late Night with the Devil! Features one of the most chilling possession scenes I’ve seen in a long time (imo.) Loved the '70s talk show setting. David D is fantastic in it!”

Someone else agreed: “So last night I saw Late Night with The Devil , and tried to go in as blind as possible - and I really enjoyed it, for a period film, and from a horror perspective, it was bone chilling seeing where it went, as a unique found footage film similar to Ghost Watch.”

And a fourth said: “Btw horror fans if you haven’t seen Late Night with the Devil yet, PLEASE watch. It’s so good.”

Its plot is kind of similar to the BBC TV movie, Ghostwatch.

This 1992 film recreated an actual news broadcast which led many viewers to believe that it was a real news round.

Presented as a serious news report, a haunting at a family’s London home is investigated with gristly outcomes.

I mean, it did star actual BBC news presenters, which could easily fool people into thinking it was a real broadcast.

Many also drew comparisons to Paranormal Activity - which actually has the same producers as this one - which terrified an entire generation three times each new instalment was released.

There’s just something about possession, man.

As one of the best found-footage horror movies, the story of a poor couple who moved into their dream home only to discover creepy paranormal happenings before (Micah Sloat) and Katie (Katie Featherston) pay the ultimate price.

But if you’ve watched those films and need something to really get you spooked, then Late Night With The Devil is for you.

Watch it on Amazon Prime, if you dare.
