Viewers were left 'scarred' after watching the 'chilling' Polish film

Amidst all the Love Island drama and Bridgerton chaos - I'm sure many of us are itching for something a little grittier.

Now, we all know that Netflix is the go-to place when it comes to documentaries, TV shows and movies in the crime or true crime genre.

So, if you're after your next fix of something to make you sweat and raise your heart rate - look no further than this '10/10' crime thriller jam-packed with plot twists which is 'not for the faint-hearted'.

The Polish film, which first hit the streaming platform last week (29 May), is based on the first of the three novels by the writer Malgorzata Oliwia Sobczak.

It has also since climbed to the impressive 'No. 3 in Films Today' spot.

The plot follows two women who are murdered in identical circumstances, 15 years apart, whose bodies were found washed ashore on a beach.

It is then up to Prosecutor Bilski to find out what links the two women together and uncover the brutal truth.

Determined to prove the young woman's murder is connected to the cold case,

Bilski begin his perilous investigation that leads him to a 'murky underworld' operating out of one of the beaches' seaside nightclubs.

The film in question is none other than Colors of Evil: Red. Check out the official trailer here:

It's clear fans have been absolutely loving the flick, with many rushing to social media to share their praise.

One X user quipped: "Colors of Evil: Red on Netflix was 9.9/10. It was good and lots of plot twists but f**k psychopath!"

A second penned: "Colors of Evil: Red really good asf go check it out on Netflix … every plot twist has a plot twist it’s crazy good."
