In a trailer posted to YouTube via Netflix's official account, lead actors Kit Connor and Joe Locke - who play high school love interests Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring in this emotional drama series - can be seen chatting at a fairground at night.

Turning to the cameras, 20-year-old Kit explains: "This is Episode 8, so, Nick and Charlie have started to get a bit more steamy. We're about to rehearse, but I tell you what, we are about to have a great time."

The star - as well as a group of his fan-favourite cast-mates then go on to give viewers a clue as to what lustful carnage and romantic chaos we'll see their characters this time around.

Trans acting superstar Yasmin Finney - who plays Elle Argent on the hit show - then tells viewers: "The positive reaction from Season 2 has really boosted all of our confidence, I can't wait for you guys to see."

Her co-star William Gao - who plays Tao Xu - then explains how his character is set to develop in the forthcoming instalment.

"Tao is beginning to figure out what he loves to do and what his hobbies are," he explains.

"He's finding a passion for something that he begins to really love.

"And he does it to bring joy to people and to cheer up the other characters in the show."

"This season, we get to see a little bit more of Tori [Spring]," actor Jenny Walser then goes on to tease. "And how, what Charlie has been going through, has affected her.

"She also makes a new friend..." she adds, smirking at the camera.

Kit then returns to the chat to hint at how Nick and Charlie's relationship could grow: "Tensions are high - sexual tension, love, we're all there."

At the end of the clip, it is revealed that the third series will be coming back in 'October 2024'.

And by the sounds of it, viewers cannot WAIT for the series to return, with many expressing their delight in the comment section of the sweet clip.
