Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan responds to claims of deleted steamy scene between Polin in season 3

One thing everyone knows about Bridgerton is that it's gonna be jam-packed with a bunch of spicy moments.

Now, as we know, the third season focuses on friends-to-lovers Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington, played by Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan, respectively.

Whether it was the incredibly raunchy carriage scene or the oh-so-erotic mirror scene, it's clear the latest season's influx of intimate scenes alone was enough to send Netflix viewers into a total frenzy.

However, it seems that some fans reckon there is more deleted Polin action yet to be seen.

Many have since rushed to social media, begging for a glimpse into the alleged extra footage.

One X user penned: "Can we have the deleted and extended POLIN scenes please?"

A second hit out: "#JusticeforPolin movement Because Polin deserve the scenes they took from us, their performance is sublime enough for part of it to be forgotten. There are already signatures for @netflix to recover the deleted scenes of our favourite couple."

"Please release the deleted Polin scenes @NetflixUK," begged a third before adding: "Everyone sign the petition!"

Another echoed: "Soooo @netflix where are the Polin deleted scenes?"

And a final X user urged: "PLEASE, RELEASE THE DELETED SCENES!"

Well, Nicola's since put all the speculation to bed after directly responding to claims of deleted steamy scene between Polin in season three of Bridgerton.

On Instagram, one fan asked: "Oh, my god. Just imagine [sic] if they gave us the deleted scenes."

The 37-year-old actor directly responded to the comment, shutting down the rumours once and for all.

"This is just a rumour," she wrote under her most recent post, "I think you got all the Polin we had but there's lots of BTS still to share."

Speaking of deleted scenes, one Bridgerton star revealed a 'fiery' sex scene between one couple was cut from season three.

Speaking to Digital Spy about his time on set, Martins Imhangbe, who plays Will Mondrich, revealed that there was a 'whole scene' where Will and Alice (played by Emma Naomi) 'do it everywhere'.

He continued: "Then the kids interrupt. There was all this stuff that happened.

"There's something about coming to the house then - now that we've put aside all the rules, we kind of enjoy the house, you know?"

The 32-year-old actor continued: "[Will and Alice have] been together for years, like 12 plus years, and there is a myth that married couples don't still have fiery sex like the new couples do.

"So I think there's something [in showing] that you can still have that passion, that fire 12 years on, 15, 20 years on."

While Martins wasn't entirely sure why the sex scene 'didn't make the cut', he teased that showrunners were possibly being 'saved for another season'.

"I think that there's something [in] the show that might be coming down the line, but it would be good to see a married couple hold that [passionate] space too," he added.
