Fans of Lewis Capaldi are elated after the singer-songwriter last night made a major musical comeback - exactly two years after suddenly cutting his Glastonbury performance short back in 2023.
At the time, the much-loved Scotsman had taken to Worthy Farm's legendary Pyramid Stage, where he steadily lost his voice throughout the set.
This then triggered an episode of Capaldi's Tourette's syndrome, during which the 28-year-old appeared visibly heartbroken.

The musician had previously cancelled all of his June tour dates prior to the festival 'to take a wee break from my head for my mental health', he told Glastonbury-goers at the time.
“I wanted to come back and do Glastonbury because it’s obviously so incredible, so I just want to thank you all for coming out," the 'Before You Go singer continued. "I was scared but you’ve really made me feel at ease so thank you very much for that."
Despite crowds of fans helping the Capaldi finish his set by singing his lyrics for him, he later made the 'most difficult decision' to retreat from public life altogether for two years.
This week, however, the Brit Award winner surprised fans by releasing brand new music on his official Instagram page.
Sharing what a music video for an new track titled 'Survive' - which consisted of clips of his Glastonbury Tourettes episode, as well as footage of him as a child - Capaldi wrote the caption: "It’s been a while…"

"Can we all stand up and give this young man the round of applause he deserves," one gushed. "For stepping back and taking the time to get the help that he needed. What a role model, welcome back Lewis."

Another added: "Not me literally tearing up when I see a post from you again - I've missed you, but thank you for putting yourself first."

"Welcome back, King Capaldi," a third wrote. "Your people missed you."
Another continued: "Welcome back King, we have missed you so much."
And even more exciting, the widely-adored chart-topper is said to have plans to make a surprise appearance at Glastonbury later today (27 Jun).
Though we can't exactly confirm this exciting speculation, the release of Capaldi's new music is certainly a good sign.

On top of the announcement, Metro claims fans have been spotting peculiar billboards around the Somerset area (where the festival takes place), which appear to show the lyrics to his new number.
One shared by the publication reads the simply words, 'I've had my share of Monday mornings when I can't get up', which come directly from his single 'Survive', along with a phone number.

Curious, a number of fans then texted said number, before receiving another set of lyrics, reading, 'I’m gonna get up and live until the day that I die'.

A second billboard was also shared online with the words, 'Most nights I fear that I’m not enough'.
According to sources who spoke to press, Capaldi's 'secret slot' is scheduled on the Pyramid Stage at 4.55pm, just before Alanis Morissette's performance.
