Eminem has never been one to shy away from the brutalities of his family life.

So much so, that the financial battles, relationship break-downs, heartbreaking losses, substance abuse and the estrangements from his children that he endured throughout the duration of his life often became the subjects of his mesmerising rap songs.

And this week, following the release of his latest masterpiece, The Death of Slim Shady, the best-selling artist has had praised heaped upon him for hashing out the passionate yet often heartbreaking, close-knit relationship with eldest daughter Hailie Mathers in one of the album's most emotional tracks.

Recognised by the public of the apple of the musician's eye for countless years, Hailie's name has been dropped in a handful of tracks.

Not only has the rapper - real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III - lifted the lid on his prior difficulties in paying for his parenting duties as a young father, having raised his daughter in an impoverished area of Missouri, but he's also opened up on his adoration for his recently-married 28-year-old.

Titled 'Temporary', one of his newly-released songs features the voice of Eminem's now podcaster/social media influencer daughter - whom he shares with long-term ex Kimberly Anne "Kim" Scott.

It is believed the song is a love letter from the 51-year-old to his former little girl, written as though he has passed away.

Whilst the intro includes lines spoken and sung by Hailie herself, the rapper can later be heard telling listeners: "Yeah, so Hailie Jade, I wrote you this song / To help you cope with life now that I'm gone / How should I start? Just wanna say /

Look after Eleana, Stevie and Uncle Nate."

Eminem continues: "And, sweetie, be strong; I know I was your rock, and I still am / Saying goodbye is just not ever easy / Why you crying? Just stop Hailie, baby, dry your eyes, this is not forever."

As such, a handful of the rapper's fans have been left utterly heartbroken by the tear-jerking address, with many claiming this particular track left them sobbing.

"Was not expecting another song to Hailie but 'Temporary' hits hard. @Eminem

absolutely amazing song," one gushed on social media.

"Eminem’s temporary track should have came with a warning", another continued.

"crying to Eminem's new album was not something I thought I'd do today but holy f**k. was vibing to the music until 'temporary' came on and I just started crying holy f**k. such a beautiful song", a third went on.

Another added: "Eminem's track 'Temporary' is actually a tear jerker man"

"Why did you do this, Eminem? You got me crying like a baby - Temporary is so beautiful…" another admitted.
