Toby Aromolaran and Georgia Steel’s relationship explained after they couple up on All Stars series

ITV2 viewers have noted the pair's chemistry - but the duo have actually been coupled up before

We're only three episodes into the first ever series of Love Island: All Stars, and already things appear to be heating up in the South African villa.

Monday night's instalment - presented by TV star Maya Jama - saw 12 lonely-heart former Islanders flock to the infamous love-shack once again with the hope of this time walking away with their very own special someone.

But this wouldn't be Love Island without a plot twist or two being dropped onto ITV2 viewers...

Already, two 2024 bombshells left viewers picking their jaws up onto the floor after strutting into the villa with the hope of causing chaos among couples.

The latest arrivals were none other than 2020 winter series star Callum Jones - famed for meeting and subsequently splitting from now-ex girlfriend Molly Smith on the show - and Molly herself!

Since reuniting live on television, a handful of fans of the show can't help but think there still appears to be some sexual tension present between the pair.

"Callum & Molly will both re-couple with other people then later realise they still like each other & get back together," one Twitter user predicted this week.

But it's not just Callum and Molly that viewers are sensing romantic sparks flying between, after last night's episode saw fellow alumni Georgia Steele and Toby Aromolaran locking lips in a passionate snog.

It may come as a surprise to some, however, to learn that Georgia and Toby actually crossed paths before, and actually endured a brief fling last year.

Having appeared on different series' of the dating show (with Georgia starring on the fourth series in 2018 and Toby three years later), the pair first came face-to-face as contestants on the Love Island Games which aired last year.

The one-off series saw contestants from the UK, US, Australian, German, Swedish and French come together for a second chance to find romance.

Georgia and Toby - representing the British series - got to know each other on the show, though he later formed a connection with American contestant Cely Vazquez.

It wasn't to last, however, and Toby briefly wound up in a couple with Georgia towards the end of the show, before they jointly got the chop.

Since then, 2021 star Toby has dropped several hints about a potential romance with his Love Island Games co-star, most notably by sharing a snap of them together on his Instagram after being eliminated.

"I can’t lie, I didn’t see that coming..." he captioned the photo. "But the games are the games! Love all the support from you guys! So what’s next then?"

The couple were first coupled-up on the Love Island Games last year.

And ahead of his appearance in the South African villa this week, Toby told press of potential romances: "There could be a few. How do I explain this?

"I’ve had business that’s sort of finished, but it could be brought back. It could be rekindled in some way. There’s some different girls that that could be."

On top of that, he seemed surprised by the fact that Georgia hadn't chosen him as the lad she fancies the most.

We can't wait to see what goes down between these two...
