Love Island’s Maya Jama left the Aftersun audience in total shock after making an NSFW joke about Ciaran and Nicole.

The 29-year-old presenter was catching up with panelists Amy Hart and Sam Thompson about this week's antics on the ITV show when she left viewers gasping over the comment.

During Aftersun, Maya told audiences she was recovering from the Glastonbury festivities over the weekend.

She told the audience: "Welcome to Love Island: Aftersun. Sorry guys, excuse the voice, blame Glastonbury!

"I am a crust today - but tonight is going to be a good one! Because what a week! The twists were twisting, we had a dumping that shocked the nation and the Casa Amor doors were opened! Can I get a woo?"

She later continued: "Here to make a sense of it all is Love Island legends Hannah and Anton, turbocharged and ready to spill it all - Ronnie and Harriett are here - and here to talk dropping the L-word, it's Ciaran's mum and his best mates.

"And now you know it wouldn't be the same without our two blonde bombshells of our very own - Amy Hart and Sam Thompson are here. And breathe!"

The trio began discussing Ciaran and Nicole dropping the L-bomb as well as all the drama that commenced after he revealed the number of people he had allegedly slept with - 120 people.

"You'd lose count!" Sam quipped, "Unless he's got an Excel spreadsheet. How does he know it's 120?"

Amy continued: "The thing is though, they're both from Wales, 20 minutes away from each other. So they might go out clubbing and all 120 might be there."

Maya then joked: "Might have sh*gged a cousin. Who knows? I'm joking!"

While the TV host moved swiftly onto the topic of Casa Amor, it's clear Love Island viewers at home couldn't wait to share their reactions online.

One X user penned: "'He might have sh*gged his cousin' MAYA STOP IT NOWWWW," as a second echoed: "'Might’ve sh*gged a cousin' MAYA LMAO #loveisland #loveislandaftersun."

And a third worried: "I feel like Maya is gonna pay for the cousin comment #loveislandaftersun."

Joining Ciaran and Nicole in the villa is none other than Joey Essex, who has one special rule all islanders must allegedly follow.

According to dumped islander Patsy, just before she was given the boot, Joey installed a hilarious rule in the ITV2 love-shack, which he begged his cast-mates to follow.

Speaking to Closer, she recalled: "Everyone was quoting TOWIE. All of the girls were quoting TOWIE. Joey put us on a 'TOWIE' quote ban at one point and said, 'We’re going to need to drop it now'."

"But we couldn’t help it, and we said, 'We’re not actually quoting TOWIE, we’re just quoting The GC [Gemma Collins]'.

"She is a living legend, so can you blame us really?"

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
