I'm sure, by now, just about all of the internet has come across that video of Tom Holland 'rescuing' Zendaya from a swarm of paparazzi.

Tom, 28, could be seen posing with Zendaya, also 28, as they rocked up to the launch event of his non-alcoholic beer brand, BERO, in New York last week (24 October) in matching burgundy outfits.

Now, let's just say the paparazzi and fans were in full force from the get-go and immediately circled around Zendaya as she signed autographs.

Noticing the chaos, Tom circled back after getting separated from the Euphoria star and could be heard saying 'no, no no' as he pushed his way through the heaving crowd.

He told others to get out of the way before eventually reaching his girlfriend, grabbing her by the hand and leading her into the venue, seemingly to her delight as she seemed visibly relaxed and happy over his consideration for her.

The footage was snapped by E! News and it didn't take long for it to go absolutely viral on social media with many fans rushing in to praise the Brit for taking charge in the moment.

One X user gushed: "It's him reaching his hand back then realising she's not holding it cos she's swarmed paps and going back to correct that. HE FR DOES NOT PLAY ABOUT HER."

Another chirped: "He did what her bodyguards were supposed to do. That is a man and it makes me understand why he could land a Zendaya."

"Not only he's her boyfriend he's her bodyguard too. I love ittttttt," echoed a final X user.

Since then, a body language expert has revealed one telling sign about Tom and Zendaya’s relationship following the avalanche of praise he received after protecting her from the paparazzi.

Speaking on behalf of Slingo, body language expert, Darren Stanton, told Tyla: "They exit the vehicle, Tom leaves, he makes his way straight past the paparazzi and people waiting for autographs.

"As he gets to the entrance, he looks back, notices Zendaya is signing autographs.

"At first glance, he thinks she’s being stopped and we see his protective nature come into play."

The expert explained that as the Spider-Man star 'lifts his head back' and 'shows a chin thrust', he was showing a 'sign of power'.

"He’s asserting himself as an alpha male," Darren shared, "almost as if he’s going into superhero mode, as his instinct is to reach out to Zendaya and remove her from the situation."

He also noted that Tom tensing both his jaw and muscles while raising his shoulders 'shows his dominance and that he is in control'.

According to the expert, this interaction shows 'the depth of connection they have as a couple', adding: "While Tom’s actions are slightly over zealous, it shows he loves her very much and that their bond runs deep."

And as for Zendaya?

Well, Darren says the Challengers actress was 'happy to be led' by her beau which 'displays the trust she has in him as a partner'.
