Has anyone spotted Geri Halliwell-Horner recently?

And was she, by any chance, wearing white?

The likelihood is yes - in fact, white is the only colour that the Spice Girls singer has worn out in public in the last six years or so.

I promise, we're telling you the truth. Give her a quick search on Google Images and see for yourself.

Even more interestingly, the 52-year-old's apparent preference for the bright, light colour is totally conscious.

Speaking with Jessie and Lennie Ware on the latest episode of their popular Table Manners podcast this week, 'Ginger Spice' - as she was known throughout her girlband days - discussed what sparked the unconventional fashion choice.

For those in need of a reminder, after sky-rocketing to international stardom in the 90s as part of the hit music group alongside gal pals Melanie C, Mel B, Emma Bunton, and Victoria Beckham, she was regularly spotted in red, blue and white.

In fact, a dress donning the Union Jack became Geri's signature look, along with her flame-red hair.

The mother-of-two told listeners of her decision to tone down her wardrobe, however: "I went through a period when I was in my 20s wearing black all the time. But I've gone through different theories."

Geri added that one of the theories was sparked by the idea of wearing a professional uniform.

"I looked at a lot of guys, and they always wear the same thing," the 'Wannabe' hit-maker continued.

"Whether it's Steve Jobs, Facebook guy [Mark Zuckerberg], you know, they all wear the same thing, like a uniform."

She went on to suggest that her choice to only wear one colour is also a time-saving device.

"I thought, well, actually, how much time do you use getting ready?" Geri added.

"That was one thing, and everything matches. It keeps things simple."

Also speaking on the much-loved podcast, the Hertfordshire-born star also gave her fans an insight into her life away from the spotlight, reflecting on the Mother's Day plans she enjoyed over the weekend with her kids.

Geri is a mother to two children. She shares her daughter Bluebell Madonna, born in 2006, with her screenwriter ex-partner Sacha Gervasi, and her son Montague George Hector, born in 2017, with British motorsport executive Christian Horner.

The musician is also step-mother to Horner's daughter Olivia - born in 2013 - from his previous marriage to Beverley Allen.

Reflecting on her Mother's Day (30 Mar) weekend, she told podcast listeners this week: "Bluebell really likes cooking.

"She cooked last night for us. She cooked Chinese chicken. She'll do anything.

"She cooked me steak the other day for Valentine's. Rather than going out, she cooked for me and my husband.

"That’s mother's pride, isn't it?"
