Why you’ll never see wedding video of Victoria Beckham’s dance with Brooklyn

Brooklyn Beckham's alleged awkward mother-son wedding dance with Victoria has been making headlines for days now - but the public may never see the footage of it.

The 26-year-old former photographer confirmed the long-standing rumours that he's been locked in a feud with his parents, David, 50, and Victoria, 51, in a scathing Instagram statement on Monday (19 January).

Following years of whispers of a family fallout, the eldest of the Beckham kids decided to put his version of events out there and clarify that he 'does not want to reconcile' with his family, and is finally 'standing up for himself'.

He threw a slew of accusations towards the former footballer and fashion designer, accusing them of 'trying endlessly to ruin' his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz, claiming tensions first arose ahead of their 2022 wedding.

Brooklyn wrote: "My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped," adding that his mum allegedly 'hijacked his first dance' and pulled out of making Nicola's wedding dress at the 'eleventh hour'.

He quipped: "My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests.

"Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule [it] was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead."

Adding: "She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment."

Since reading this, people have been questioning whether there's any video evidence of this alleged first dance - and if there is, they want to see it.

However, according to TMZ, this will never happen because Brooklyn and Nicola are understandably, desperate for it to never see the light of day.

A source allegedly told the publication that the whole thing was 'deeply embarrassing and humiliating for Brooklyn' and 'the couple has no plans to ever release the wedding footage'.

Reportedly, the dance in question lasted several minutes and left guests unsure how to react.

Victoria was allegedly 'right up against Brooklyn, allegedly in a way grinding on him and guests felt the interaction crossed a line'.

The publication also reports that another reason the famous couple are confident the footage will stay private is because no-one had a phone.

According to TMZ, no phones were allowed and everyone attending or working the event signed NDAs and had their mobiles confiscated, aside from Victoria, who was the only person allowed to keep it after an exception was made.

The publications sources also say that the videography company uploaded the footage directly to a computer that's accessible only to Brooklyn and Nicola and, per their contract, was required to wipe all of the copies and sign an NDA.

So, if it ever did leak, it would be allegedly be clear it came from the photographer.
