Victoria Beckham 'destroyed' by son Brooklyn's latest move

The Beckham family drama was reignited last week following the release of Brooklyn’s eyebrow-raising DoorDash advert for the World Cup and his 14-year-old sister Harper’s mystery letter.

And amongst all this, his mum Victoria is apparently ‘devastated’ over him ‘ignoring the olive branch', according to a source who spoke with The Mirror.

The 27-year-old son of the former footballer and Spice Girl hasn’t seen eye to eye with his parents for a while now, after releasing a shock statement in January, declaring that he’s ‘standing up’ for himself for ‘the first time’ in his life.

He claimed that his famous family 'values public promotion and endorsements above all else' and were trying to 'ruin' his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz, 31.

Since then, neither party has put out a social media statement; however, last week, Brooklyn chose to poke fun at the situation in a new advertisement for DoorDash that he shared on Instagram on 15 June.

In the ad, he joked: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home…It’s a long story.”

The amateur chef then placed some World Cup tickets on the table in front of him, next to a DoorDash-branded bag, before the closing text read: “It’s complicated. More soon.”

Days before, on 12 June, the Beckham family were in LA as David received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, surrounded by his children and loved ones.

During the US trip, though, Harper was photographed arriving at Brooklyn and Nicola's Beverly Hills property, where she left a letter before leaving.

The couple were reportedly in New York at the time, and speaking to HELLO!, Brooklyn and Nicola’s representative claimed that the move was orchestrated for publicity.

They said: "That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all - this was choreographed for the cameras."

'She’s terrified there’s no way back for them now'

Reacting to the brutal response, a source has since told The Mirror: “To say Victoria is devastated is an understatement.

“She’s absolutely heartbroken that Brooklyn has reacted to his sister’s visit in this way. This was Harper’s olive branch, but it’s been thrown back in her face, and that’s infuriated Victoria.”

The source continued: “This latest move from Brooklyn has just destroyed her, she’s terrified there’s no way back for them now. She’s absolutely at breaking point now, and who can blame her?”

Victoria has allegedly ‘always hoped that time would heal things,’ so she was ‘stunned’ when Brooklyn issued a public statement about Harper’s visit.
