Travis Barker's daughter, Alabama has been on the receving end of some backlash after buying a new dog from a breeder.

Over on social media, Alabama was tagged in a video shared by dog breeder Pawz-n-Clawz Puppies who could be heard asking the teenager how she came across their page, with Alabama explaining she saw it on TikTok.

"I looked up fluffy French Bulldogs in Los Angeles," she explained.

"Then I went on Safari, nothing came up, then I looked up fluffy French Bulldogs and you guys popped up."

In further clips, Alabama can be seen introducing a tiny black French Bulldog to her other dogs.

In a separate video, the breeders later explained they had travelled from Ohio with the little Bulldog, adding that he 'did great on the flight'.

"You have such high quality dogs," Alabama can be heard saying.

Alabama later shared photos of the new family member on her own social media, writing on Instagram: "My baby."

But social media users were divided over the clips, with Alabama facing backlash over her decision to shop and not adopt.

One person wrote: "Can’t stand this kind of stuff. California animal shelters are some of the worst in the country. I hope after she bought this dog, she donated 10 grand to her local shelter."

While another said: "There are so many frenchie rescues that are over crowded because of the reckless people who breed dogs for money. Just awful."

And a third added: "So disappointed she didn’t go to a shelter."

Others took issue with the breed itself, with another writing: "It’s sad ur breeding these dogs creating more health and genetic issues for the breed. I see these dogs all the time with so many health problems."

And a second said: "I wish people would stop getting these dogs. They don’t live long and have a lot of health issues."

Others defended Alabama, with one person commenting: "Can we practice being kind to others."

While another said: "People still hating on her? Guys let’s grow up."

Despite the comments, the breeder - Myles - has explained that he is passionate about responsible breeding.

"Over the years, my love for dogs has grown into a profound passion, leading me to the world of responsible dog breeding," the website reads.

"At Pawz-N-Clawz Puppies I am committed to upholding the highest standards of responsible breeding. This commitment stems from a deep respect for the welfare of dogs and a desire to contribute positively to the canine community.

"I believe that responsible breeding is not only about producing beautiful dogs but also about ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. I've invested countless hours in learning about dog breeds, genetics, and canine health."

Tyla has reached out to Alabama's rep as well as Pawz-N-Clawz for comment.
