Taylor Swift fans emotional after hearing 'voice change' when she says one word at VMAs

Taylor Swift fans have become all gushy after hearing the singer's 'voice change' when she said one word at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards last night (11 September).

Now, the 34-year-old 'Shake if Off' hit-maker broke records after becoming the most-awarded artist in VMA history after taking home the prestigious Video of the Year award for the record-breaking fifth time, as well as receiving a staggering 12 nominations across the board, which led some to wonder whether she got her 'real revenge' on Kanye West during that extremely controversial VMA moment back in 2009.

Taylor, who wore a full-Dior yellow plaid outfit, also took the opportunity during her speech to pay a touching tribute to her NFL star beau.

Travis actually joined her on set while she directed the award-winning video for 'Fortnight' which featured on her Tortured Poets Department album.

In her speech, she said: "You know, this video seems very sad when you watch it, but it was the most fun video to make and something I will always remember is that when I would finish a take and I would say 'cut' and we'd be done with the take, I would always just hear someone cheering and like 'woo' from across the studio where we were shooting it and that one person was my boyfriend, Travis.

"Everything this man touches turns into happiness and find a magic so I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I will always remember that."

"To the fans, I’m always trying to figure out a way to say thank you to you for making my life what it is, for making the Eras tour what it has become, for making the Tortured Poets Department what it has become," she concluded.

"That’s all you guys for doing that and for voting for this award. So thank you to MTV for giving me this opportunity to thank the fans, to thank you for what you’ve done."

Swifties were quick to notice, however, that Taylor got a little choked up when gushing over her man with many picking up on the emotional moment and taking to social media to share their reactions.

One X user praised: "How her voice almost breaks at the end of 'Travis' like she gets all shy. Oh baby girl is so in love."

They added: "It’s the sweetest thing ever."

"Right???? That's the only word she changes her voice and got shy," penned a second. "I can'tttt."

A third exclaimed: "IT’S PRECIOUS!"
