Travis Kelce had a pretty heartbreaking response to Taylor Swift being savagely booed at the eagerly-anticipated Super Bowl final on Sunday (9 February).
It wasn't a good day for 35-year-old Travis, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, as his team got thrashed by the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22.
And, to make matters worse, at one point during the game, his girlfriend Taylor was met with an eruption of boos when she appeared up on the jumbotron.

While the 35-year-old 'Karma' singer handled the incredibly awkward situation like a pro, it's clear she was made to feel super uncomfortable and confused by the ordeal, hence why she mouthed: "Wait...what is going on?", according to a lip reader.
And Trav seemingly wasn't too happy either with the jeering towards his girlfriend, as a source close to him reportedly told MailOnline: "Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him.
"He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn't help. Travis knows that this hurt her and anyone can see this."
The source continued to claim: "It’s clear to many that the Eagles fans feel she is a traitor of sorts - being from Pennsylvania and even wearing Eagles gear prior to dating him."
They also responded to president Donald Trump's response to Taylor being booed.
The 78-year-old Republican leader, whose appearance marked the first time a sitting American president has attended the major sporting event. shared a post to his social media platform, Truth Social, that said: "Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed.
"The world is healing!"
Responding to such comments, the MailOnline source continued: "Travis believes that it was unnecessary for Trump to take a dig at her especially after he voiced that he was honoured for a president to be there."
They concluded: "After Taylor being shut out for a Grammy and Travis losing the biggest game of the year it just hasn’t been a good week for them.
"But he knows that even though this is not a happy ending to the season having her love gives him so much joy."
Swifties, however, were quick to defend Taylor following the ordeal, with one X user writing: "God forbid a woman watches sport AND SUPPORTS HER BOYFRIEND??? Tf."
"She handled that with real class. A true queen," praised a second, while a third said: "Notice how she didn’t care?? This is embarrassing, boys."
