The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Layla Taylor appears to have soft launched her new relationship after publicly coming out as bisexual.
The reality star, 25, recently opened up about her sexuality in a candid discussion with Jay Shetty on his podcast On Purpose podcast, revealing that she dates women and men.
Since opening up about being bisexual, Taylor has taken to social media to tease a new girlfriend.
In a Reel posted to Instagram, Taylor can be seen smiling for the camera before reaching out and clasping a woman’s tattooed and manicured hand.

The text overlay on the video reads: “‘You’re glowing recently.’ thanks I’m dating a woman now.”
She accompanied the video with the tongue-in-cheek caption: “Chivalry isn’t dead it’s w the lesbians.”
The post comes just days after a guest appearance on On Purpose with Jay Shetty, in which she told the host at the beginning of the episode: “I’m gay and I'm bi and date women and men.”
Although the reality TV star had known about her attraction to women “since [she] was little,” she confessed that she “didn’t really know how to formally address [it] for a long period of [her] life.”

Taylor revealed it was her breakup with Mason McWhorter earlier this year that motivated her to explore her sexuality, telling Shetty: “Honestly, I went through a breakup at the beginning of this year and I feel like for just a long period of my life, was constantly living my life for other people…
“And I think honestly that breakup was like a blessing in disguise because I feel like now I've been fully able to just focus on Layla. And yeah, just focus on who I truly am.”
The mother of two noted that her bisexuality would come as news to “a lot of people,” including her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives co-stars, who she hadn’t told yet.
Of her co-stars, she told the podcast: “I think right now we've just been kind of a little separate since just going on that pause from filming and everything like that. So I just haven't seen any of them in person.”
That being said, her fellow cast members have already had an overwhelmingly positive response to the news, with several of the show’s stars publicly congratulating her on social media.

Despite not having told the cast of the show in person, Taylor made it clear that she is “very proud to be bi” and “proud now to be out.”
Sharing a message of inspiration to listeners, she added: “I hope that if anyone's in a situation that I am as well, that, for a long time there, I didn't know if I could come out and truly be myself. I hope that they can feel safe to do so and proud to do so.”
Fans of SLOMW will be familiar with Tayor’s relationship history.
The TikTok influencer was previously married to Clayton Wessel, with whom she shares two sons. The pair divorced before her debut on the Hulu reality TV series.

Since then, her dating life has featured prominently on the show, including relationships with Cameron Jolly and, more recently, Mason McWhorter.
For now, Taylor is keeping her girlfriend’s identity private, and it’s unclear how much of her love live will play out in the next season of SLOMW, but fans can take her soft launch as a sign that she is happier than ever.
