Scott Mills faces another axe after being sacked over 'personal conduct' allegations
An episode of Celebrity Bake Off starring Mills was also pulled by Channel 4

Following the shock decision to sack Scott Mills following 'personal conduct' allegations, the star is facing the axe again as the BBC seeks to distance itself from him.
Mills, 53, took over the BBC Radio 2 breakfast show from Zoe Ball back in January 2025, but disappeared from the show at the end of March, before it emerged that he was questioned by police in 2018 over historical allegations of serious sexual offences against a teenage boy who was under 16.
While the police investigation was dropped in 2019 due to a lack of evidence, and the BBC had known about the allegations since 2017, 'new information' was brought to the BBC's attention that led to them showing Mills the door.
According to the Mirror, his sacking was confirmed to 'shell-shocked' staff and colleagues days later, with Lorna Clarke, Director of Music, sending a statement which read: "I wanted to personally let you know that Scott Mills has left the Breakfast show, and the BBC. I know that this news will be sudden and unexpected, and therefore must come as a shock.

"Not least as so many of us have worked with Scott over a great many years, across a broad range of our programmes on R1, 5Live, R2 and TV. I felt it was important to share this news with you at the earliest opportunity."
In the wake of his removal from the breakfast show, the BBC has apparently axed Mills from another high-profile programme.
Eagle-eyed fans have been posting on social media after they noticed the change.
HELLO! Magazine reports one social media user clocked something was missing from archive editions of Top Of The Pops: "BBC Four are skipping the 6, 13 and 20 August editions of #TOTP, as they're the final three presented by Scott Mills…"
The episodes aired in 6, 13 and 20 August 1999, and were all hosted by Mills. They seem to have been removed from BBC Four's run of repeats.
As well as the missing episodes, Radio Today reports that a famous Scott Mills sign at the Fleet Services bridge has been taken down too.
Welcome Break had recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of the sign, which was named after the presenter after he had talked about it on air.
The Sun also reports that Mills has been 'erased' from the BBC and says a famous plaque from the BBC Radio 1 studio has also been removed in the wake of the allegations.
The silver plaque was put up on his final day at Radio 1 in 2022, and the studio he broadcast from, 82A was also renamed as 82 Mills.
Channel 4 also confirmed that an episode of Celebrity Bake Off starring Mills also will not air.

Aged 16, Mills barrages his local radio station Power FM with demos, who eventually offer him a presenting slot in the 1am to 6am graveyard shift.
He becomes the youngest mainstream radio presenter in the UK. Jobs at Bristol’s GWR FM, Manchester’s Piccadilly Key 103 and London’s Heart 106.2 soon follow.
These are the dates the Met Police say the allegations of serious sexual offences made by a teenage boy under the age of 16 against Scott Mills refer to.
Mills joins the BBC, originally broadcasting from 4am to 7am on Radio 1.
Mills' boyfriend Mitch dies following a drug overdose, leaving the radio host struggling with his mental health
After filling in for Sara Cox on maternity leave, he eventually lands his own primetime early evening slot, headlining The Scott Mills Show for the next 18 years.

Mills competes in season 12 of Strictly Come Dancing, and was the fifth to be eliminated.
The Met Police opens an investigation into Scott Mills following a referral by another police force.
The BBC is made aware of an ongoing Met Police inquiry into Mills.
Mills is questioned under caution by the Met Police.
The case against Mills is dropped after the Crown Prosecution Service determines there is not enough evidence to bring charges.
Mills moves to BBC Radio 2 to replace Steve Wright on Steve Wright in the Afternoon. He later replaces Zoe Ball on the breakfast show.
Mills marries radio exec Sam Vaughan, and later that year they win the second series of Celebrity Race Across the World.

A journalist and former BBC presenter contacts the BBC press office after a source tips her off to allegations about inappropriate messages involving Mills. She never receives a response.
The BBC has since apologised, saying in part: "This should have been followed up and we should have asked further questions. We apologise for this and will look into why this did not happen."
Mills is sacked by the BBC.
