Real Housewives star Bethenny Frankel hits back at Travis Kelce’s dad after he calls her a ‘troll’

The unlikely feud between Bethenny Frankel and Travis Kelce’s father Ed rages on as the ex-The Real Housewives of New York star clapped back at his recent comment.

Earlier this month, Bethenny, 53, posted a video to her social media regarding the dynamic between Travis and 'Bad Blood’ hitmaker, Taylor Swift, both 34.

In the clip, shared with her 3.3 million Instagram followers, the businesswoman discussed whether the Kansas City Chiefs tight end had a ‘peacock’ personality.

Bethenny began by saying: “I saw him on stage at Kansas City and he was singing this song - he was wasted, obviously. He loves to be the life of the party.”

While doing her makeup, she likened the NFL player to one of her ex-boyfriends before claiming he and Taylor may run into difficulties as there can ‘usually only be one peacock in a relationship’.

Following the reality TV stars’ rant, Travis’ father Ed, 51, took to Facebook and wrote: “Who TF is this troll?”

The mother-of-one has since responded to Travis and 36-year-old Jason Kelce’s dad and said he'd used ‘insult instead of intellect’ to challenge her comments.

Speaking on an episode of her podcast, Just B with Bethenny Frankel, the former RHONY personality said: “Travis Kelce’s dad called me a troll.

“So, I do actually understand and admire a parent coming to their child’s defence, particularly when asked about it.

“I just wish he would have expressed an opinion versus just a verbal insult because, you know, as we teach our kids, it’s better to express yourself than to just criticise.”

She then discussed the moment that Travis was captured shouting in the face of NFL coach Andy Reid while playing in the 58th Super Bowl earlier this month.

The American footballer has since apologised for his actions, but Bethenny said: “I did not mention him pushing his coach, which is a physical expression versus using your words and having a conversation, which is kind of like what his dad did.”

She then went on to explain that she didn’t mind if Taylor’s fanbase came for her because she would ‘defend herself’.

“I wasn’t even criticising their relationship,” she quipped. “I mean, they’re on top of the world.

“They’re both very successful. I’ve said that I literally think he’s a peacock, and there are two peacocks in this relationship, and it usually doesn’t work.”

Bethenny added: “Calling me a troll is amazing clickbait and yay for Travis Kelce's dad.”
