It's a rarity for big-name celebrities to give the public an honest glimpse into what exactly makes their personal relationships work.
And who can blame them? With their career antics, parenting skills and fashion faux-pas constantly under scrutiny from devoted fans and pressing paparazzi, should we be surprised that they prefer to keep some things to themselves?
That said, however, one multi-award winning singer has this week lifted the lid on her A-list relationship with a shock revelation, admitted she's never lived with her fiancé.

The star in question?
Little Mix bombshell Perrie Edwards - famed, not only for her stellar singing voice, but also her loved-up relationship with Premier League footballer, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The 30-year-old Geordie icon first appeared on X Factor alongside her bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock - as well as estranged ex-member Jesy Nelson - back in 2011, where she met former flame, One Direction star Zayn Malik, whom she dated for five years.
Following a bitter break-up between the duo, however - which led to a number of not-so-subtle digs being thrown in their respective chart-topping hits - Perrie finally found her 'Prince Charming' in 2016, in the form of sportsman hunk, Alex.

Their relationship quickly went from strength-to-strength, with the pair announcing in May 2021 that they were expecting their first child together.
Nine months later, their beautiful baby boy was born, whom they named Axel.
And in the weeks that followed their brand new arrival, the first-time parents announced their engagement.

This week, however, amidst the couple's anticipation to finally tie the knot, Perrie has made a series of refreshingly honest - yet somewhat expected - admissions about her relationship with Alex, revealing that the distance between them can often be difficult.
For those unfamiliar with the couple's dynamic, sportsman Alex now plays in Turkey, 2,500 miles from the Cheshire home that Perrie lives in with their son.
Perrie told press of their set-up this week: "When he was playing for Liverpool and based in Manchester, it was so easy to do the back and forth but Turkey is a little bit further and he doesn’t get a lot of time off."
She quickly added, however, that their long-distance engagement isn't especially out of the ordinary for them, revealing that they've actually NEVER lived together, throughout the duration of their eight-year romance.

Perrie went on: "I’m trying to launch a solo career whilst having a two-year-old so it is a lot to juggle but we make it work for the ones we love, don’t we?
"We’ve never lived together – the eight years we’ve been in a relationship, we’ve never actually lived together."
Apparently, however, the phrase 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' couldn't be more true in the case of Perrie and Alex, with the girlband musician claiming that being apart has made their relationship stronger, despite her natural sass.

"We’re very laid back and very chilled," she claimed. "But at the same time, I can be a little bit of a petty b***h.
"I’m very stubborn, I’m very emotional but not in the best way. I will hold a grudge for anything he might say. I just can’t help the way I am."
