Many of us have a list of 'red flags' when it comes to dating and it's clear celebs are no different.

Olivia Rodrigo, who stars in a brand-new Netflix documentary, Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour, has opened up about exactly what sounds alarm bells for her, and it's sparked quite the discussion online.

In fact, the 21-year-old 'good 4 u' singer has got the dating game nailed after figuring out the one question she needs to ask guys on first dates that apparently reveals their 'biggest red flag'.

Check it out here:

Now, many of us have particular tests and challenges we may try out when it comes to dating in order to weed out the incompatible people from the better-suited ones.

Whether you ask them their thoughts on their ex-partner and how their most recent relationship ended, or simply seeing how they treat the staff at a bar or restaurant - it's clear many people have some immediate no-no's when it comes to first date behaviour.

Olivia, however, has a very niche and admittedly 'oddly specific' test to see if she and her date would make a good fit later down the line.

Promoting the GUTS tour doc in a Netflix Instagram clip, Olivia revealed to fans: "Okay, this is a very oddly specific question that I ask guys on first dates."

She continued: "I always ask them if they think that they would want to go to space. And if they say yes, I don't date them."

Clarifying her point, the hit-maker added: "I just think if you want to go to space, you're a little too full of yourself, because I think it's just weird."

Naturally, the former Disney Channel star sparked quite a reaction in fans, with many running to the comments to share their thoughts.

One Instagram user praised: "Olivia Rodrigo you're so real for the space one."

"The space thing is giving astronaut lmaoo," quipped a second while a third chirped: "YES SPACE IS WEIRD."

Some people, however, were clearly extremely salty over Olivia's light-hearted comment, with a few keyboard warriors rushing in to slam her for the 'stupid' remark.

"One of, if not, the stupidest things I have ever heard. If I had a chance to date you and knew about this, I would NEVER go out with a wacko like you!" hit out one internet troll.

Another slammed: "She basically said, 'I don't date men who reach for dreams that I have judged them incapable of'. What a disgusting human being."

And a final Instagram user, equally extremely butthurt over the joke, echoed: "That has to be one of the most LOW-IQ things I've ever heard!! That's girl math for you!"

Learn how to take a joke, guys.
